Do some serious research into local sold prices, which is difficult as LR are still behind with registering new owners.
Agree with winter holidays in destination areas. Why not take care with you as some cottages / hotels only add an extra £10 for them.
Meds sound like they're making a positive difference.
Enjoy your new trainers!Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.4 -
Thanks Beanie and MF
My cat is quite destructive so wouldn't dare take with me. He has badly clawed my leather furniture in particular. He also hates being trapped inside so it would feel cruel to keep him in.
I think my house price is perfectly reasonable - and will leave as is for now which is what I said to the EA earlier too. I've said let's chat first weekend after schools go back about what we can do to get it in the newest listed section again e.g. by deleting and relisting (as that's no extra cost to me!).
The meds have been better this week than last. I have lost 5lb in 13 days just cutting down on junk food that I no longer crave. It feels unbelievable that the craving switched off literally overnight. When my meds are all settled in and at the right level - I'll gradually start to look at the quality of what I'm eating for my main meals - but don't want to over-face myself with too much change at once. I had strawberries and blueberries with an eighth of a (shop bought) cake about 4ish and am just going to have my tea now. Not had any chocolate for days.
I went for a mini walk at lunchtime to get rid of some of my stress. Will see if I am up to going out in a bit too. I sat out for a while after work in the garden. My pond has flowering red lobelia cardinalis I think as well as a flowering red water lily.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Thanks Beanie
Spoke to a family member earlier. They suggested I went and looked at the expensive bungalow and if I like it - make an affordable offer while I still have a potential buyer on the hook. So will try that in the morning and see if I can swing a DIA style deal.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Good luck with the viewing and potential offer on it.
Amazing difference with the meds.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.4 -
If the trainers make you happy and you can afford them then they're a worthwhile purchase. So pleased the meds are having a good effect. Good plan with the viewing, nothing to lose.4

I like the boldness of the trainers - both the colourfulness and the decision to get them. I am starting to realise I am looking a bit threadbare … I need to do something about this but I hate shopping so much and I don’t want to spend the money! 😂
Awesome news about the meds - well done for persisting with them 😊👏 The probiotics I have just started are supposed to have a similar effect, albeit less dramatic I suspect, but no sign of the effect so far ….
Good luck with the viewing - sounds interesting 😊
