Thanks Skint, WD, Seaweed and Beanie
I definitely found my tribe!
Just spent a long time on a call with a colleague helping them identify their traits to perhaps go for assessment. It was a nice end to the work day.
Not felt any difference from the tablet today either so far. I suppose I've felt calm.
I took an hour off in the middle of the day to cook some loaded potato skins and convert chicken leftovers into some sort of cajun potato pepper and onion dish with tinned tomatoes, some bacon and sweet chilli sauce.
I haven't done the Am**** returns as the things need putting in 4 separate bags despite arriving in 2 which is frustrating. I will hopefully nip to Sainsbugs though and return those things.
I bought a dino therapy book today. Love it. Sending it to a family member. Not heard if they received my other gift yet.`Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

I spent an entire day not being able to make a decision. Except buying gaviscon.

I ended up just hunkered into my chair this evening under an electric blanket. I paid off DD's holiday on my CC with the money she sent me and shuffled some other money around. Still not done anything with the returns. That CC is still showing a balance of £497 from in month spends. I should clear up to £186 after P1p tomorrow and after returning the Sainsbugs clothes. I should then be able to clear the rest after I get my energy refund (c£245) from Sh311 and the rest after payday. Next pay month (a week tomorrow) I'm hoping to save properly again - although I've just realised I'm going out for the day on Thursday - which could attract a fuel cost and a day out spend. I'm hoping to go to the beach.
I had earmarked £95 to go to a CC but not actually sent it so I thought I'd messed up more than I had. The rest of that particular CC should be largely cleared once I return the Am**** clothing.
My fuel spend this month has been a lot lower - helped by a fuel top up towards the tail end of last pay month. I've diverted that to food and gifts instead!
My sis got the gift I sent and loved it. Made her laugh which was the plan.
I'm currently wading through @KajiKita 's diary - on page 44 currently... Interesting - and reminding me of the need to be more 'on it' with my money.
I've been burning lavender fields incense today - it's lovely - and between that and possibly the new meds I've not really wanted junk food. Had 3 tiny after 8s. 20 pecan halves. 5 cherries as my treats. I had porridge for brekkie, the weird cajun stew for dinner and then lots of loaded skins with chilli sauce for tea. I've frozen some of the skins for another day as well as having some left for tomorrow and possibly the day after...
I still need to pack the clothes and straighten the lounge. I also need to unpack and pack the dishwasher and clean the counters - as I spilled stuff while cooking. I also need to take my clean clothes upstairs to put away... I feel like I've been rebelling slightly the last couple of days against the extreme tidiness but hopefully it's just tiredness. I certainly want to nip the mess in the bud. I have a viewer for Saturday - so possible ray of hope there... I realised today how much the external pressure of potential viewings is helping with motivation to stay clear. Hopefully regardless of outcome it will have trained me in a new habit that I can retain.

I'm currently wading through @KajiKita 's diary - on page 44 currently... Interesting - and reminding me of the need to be more 'on it' with my money.Really? I wouldn’t use me as an example of virtue or discipline! 😂 I tend to go in an out of focus on tracking etc quite a bit. It’s hard to keep the motivation going mid month. I do try to do at least a weekly mop up of all spends and planned transactions (it reminds me of what I have already spent since last payday which I find easy to forget and then think, oh I can just get … No I can’t actually! 😉). These habits are not rubbing off on Mr KK! Yet …. 😉
