Thank you to everyone who commented and helped me with through this absolutely horrible time and issue that these unscrupulous "parking firms" created by giving me £100 fine.
After spending hours creating and finally submitting my appeal to Polpa on Saturday night (13 images, 1 video and 30pages), after hearing nothing from the complaint email I sent on Thursday to group of 25 email address (as no one would tell me who privately owned the land) including, the developers, directors, local ward councillors who sat on the developments board and my local MP...
My PCN was cancelled as a "goodwill gesture" by ParkingEye today.
I received the following email from the developers:
BYUK Communications <communications@bouygues-uk.com, companysecretarial@linkcity.comGood afternoon xxxxx,
Thank you for your email. We are sorry to hear about your situation.
Linkcity does not have day-to-day input into the operation of the car parks, but we have reached out to Parking Eye and explained your situation. We are pleased to confirm that Parking Eye has made the decision to cancel this charge as a gesture of good will and a letter of confirmation is on its way to you from Parking Eye.
Best wishes,
xxxxx
This was the PDF Parking Eye sent to me:16 January 2023
Reference: Parking Charge Notice - xxxxx/xxxxx
Dear Sir / Madam,
We are writing in relation to the Parking Charge incurred on xx October 2022 at xxxx, at Hallsville Quarter, London - Basement and Surface car park.
As a gesture of goodwill, we would like to confirm that this charge has now been cancelled and there is no outstanding payment due.
We understand that receiving a Parking Charge Notice may be inconvenient, however, issuing Parking Charges for breaches of the parking terms and conditions at this car park is necessary to ensure a better overall parking experience for all users of the facilities.
To avoid potential future inconvenience, we would kindly request you follow the parking terms and conditions displayed on the signage throughout the car park.
Yours faithfully,
Parkingeye Team

please let me know what information I should share on here to help anyone else who receives a PCN here?
Also, I want to go back and say this is not a goodwill gesture but utterly disgraceful behaviour - should i cut my losses or how can i escalate their disgusting practices?0 -

1. Please post about your success in achieving landowner cancellation at the last gasp, by linking your thread and telling your brief story and who you contacted (and how you tracked them down) in SUCCESSFUL COMPLAINTS ABOUT PPCS. It is the first hyperlink after the first Q&As in the Newbies thread and more people will find your case there.
2. Feel free to come back here when you can, and join us and encourage landowner cancellations and robust complaints to MPs, etc. The more regulars stopping by to post here (even sporadically in passing) the better! It's how we all started and we share a desire to end this scammery. For example the new poster @parkingevader seems to be struggling to grasp why they should try landowner cancellation before trying appeal... maybe you can reply on their thread to help them realise why that is the way forward?
3. And most important: we sincerely hope that you are au fait with the need to respond to the final Government Public Consultation?
We anticipate it will be open very soon.
We all need to ram the nail in the coffin of the false £70 'Admin fee' add-on, that funds the DRA gaslighting of people.
The added £70 is something that ParkingEye want to add onto their PCNs (they are the only ones who currently don't, but they are no doubt hoping the DLUHC fall for it).
UK motorists should respond to make sure the level of parking charges is capped at a proportionate level AND the added £70 abuse is banned to cut off the blood supply to the toxic court claim mentality.
Please come back here when it opens, and you can make sure you don't miss the Consultation:
If you are not a regular reader, to be alerted you'll need to bookmark the thread by MSE_JC at the top of the forum and enable (on your profile) email alerts for bookmarked threads.
Then join us when the Consultation opens, pleeease!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
