PoPLA codes last 32 days, so you may still have time. Don't rush this if you don't have to.

Thank you for letting me know, as the letter Parking Eye sent said 28 days and I am currently 29 days - sorry for being so last minute. Everything is a blur atm

Pls pls pls could I get some input on the following POLPA appeal which I need to submit today as I have not been well. Thank you so much!
Why do you need to submit it today?

What is the date of the rejection letter?

What happened with the easy route of Morrisons Head office cancellation?

It's just that ParkingEye win most POPLA appeals so that really isn't what you should be prioritising.

Landowner cancellation is normally a cinch.

Since we advised that, you've presumably searched the forum for Morrisons ParkingEye cancellation and found the email address where they always cancel:

    donotreply@morrisonsplc.co.uk

Just send your complaint and copy of the PCN and ask Morrisons Head Office to please step in and cancel it.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

C-m, the OP has been ill and doesn't have time to push for a cancellation before the PoPLA deadline.

atruefaker, I like that appeal, however,

You have a random emoji in section 1/3.

In 9, I wouldn't say that no application has been found but rather no planning permission nor advertising consent has been granted, meaning a criminal offence has occurred.

My personal opinion is the where an EA 2010 breach has occurred, it should be point 1. It won't win. It will be ignored by PoPLA, but it is all useful stuff to use in complaints to the landowner, your MP, and the forthcoming government consultation, as well as the criminal offence of not having advertising consent.

    Hello

I tried Morrisons' liek you suggested and I got this response, to say they don't own the land - but I have been in and asked them who does and tried to google search - but I have no idea who owns the land. I have even been back to look at PArking Eye signs and it doesn't say anything about who the landowner is.

    This was morrison's response:

    Good afternoon

    Thanks for contacting us.

I’m very sorry to say that this car park is owned and operated by a private landlord and not by Morrisons.

Due to this we’re unable to assist you with the charge. You’ll be best contacting the Parking Company directly to appeal the charge.

My apologies we’re unable to help further on this occasion.

    Kind regards

Why do you need to submit it today? IT says I have to do it within 28 days on the rejection letter and I am on Day 29 (I think)

What is the date of the rejection letter? 14th December 2022

    Should i still avoid POLPA?

POPLA Codes last 33 days exactly.  You have a few more days this week to get it cancelled and it's often immediate, once you find the right person.

PLEASE don't throw away landowner cancellation for POPLA which will likely lose.

What happened when you pinged a complaint to this 'landlord' or the property managing agent who is likely advertised (usually with a phone number too) at the entrance to the retail park, and/or as shown as a contact on the website or retail unit results, when you Google the place?

We know you don't know who it is, yet... Easy to find, usually.

Thank you, I will move the EA point to first position.

In my initial appeal to PE and post here, we did try to pay a £15 tariff twice before we left and returned to the car - but there was no way to contact anyone for help on the ticket machine. Image attached. Is it worth putting this in or is it a futile point now?

Also, is it true, i am likely to lose the appeal due to POLPA?

    Thank you @Coupon-mad

I have tried to find this out and asked in store. Tonight I even walked around to try and find it with the baby. I have done a google search and I honestly cannot find anything about the landowner.

I found some info on the developers and that was it in this link: https://www.buildington.co.uk/buildings/5165/england/london-e16/silvertown-way/hallsville-quarter

It's not necessarily a retail park but a load of new builds and the car park is under it - but there is a morrisons and superdrug at the top.

Yes you are most likely to lose based on what we know about POPLA and PEye.

Please take your focus off POPLA for 2 days and do what I advised, urgently.

Please tell us when the retail park agent cancel it for you tomorrow.

    In your PoPLA appeal:
    ...your ICO link doesn't work.
    ...your BBC link doesn't work.
...your first britishparking.co.uk link doesn't work.
...your second britishparking.co.uk link doesn't produce the desired result - at least I couldn't find what you suggest might be there.
