In your proposed PoPLA appeal you go to great lengths to explain to PoPLA why the keeper has no liability, summing that point up with...

Do you now want to throw that point away?

@KeithP I am trying to work out the best way to input the info for the POLPA appeal - I have edited the above post. I am confused about if I can put in my contact details into the appeal with my partner's permission (as per the screen shots but then it asks for the "motorist details" on POLPA when I select I have the authority to appeal) - does this make sense? We are not going to disclose who the driver is

But the 'motorists details' they are asking for are the details of the person appealing.

The PoPLA appeal should be sent by the Registered Keeper - who happens to be a motorist.

ah ok, I thought I read on a post on the forum that you could appeal on someone's behalf which was what I was going to do - is that not the case then? in which case I will put it in their name

Do not do it!  The appeal is done by the registered keeper.  No advice here ever says to appeal to POPLA 'on behalf of' another person.

Thank you, as I was not sure I just did it as my partner - I have an update which I will put in the next post
