Beautiful photo, pigpen - you can see her character shining through
May her onward journey be an easy one.
A long list of bitty things to complete this week, involving payments, birthday and Christmas cards, phonecalls, strawberry plants, the post office, a visit to the horse piddle (on this occasion not for me or DH), DGD1+2, hair, cakes, and trousers - and doubtless more will be added as time goes on. My mind went blank last night on the meal planning...
I will start by getting breakfast for DH, as it's our anniversary. How we've made it to 13 years, I'm not quite sure!
(((Hugs))) spoons and sticks all round xx

I hope Hazel's journey flows as smoothly as it can, Piggers. I'm so sad it's happening because I know you adore her. She's very special so thank you for the photo.Huge congratulations on your anniversary Ionafan.I have a short list in the grand scheme of things but it's a long one for me with this ankle. Yesterday I managed two phyiscal exertion things and it let me know last night that *ouch* was the order of the day and I can still feel it this morning but I can't let things pile up at the rate they been for any longer. I'm starting back slowly but I am starting back. Today it will be dusting the two letting rooms, cleaning the shower room and possibly bed-making in both rooms. If I can't finish the shower room I'll do the loo, sink and floor and leave the shower itself until another day. The only way I can get back to normal life is pacing myself and I seem to be very bad at that.I absolutely MUST order a new filter for one of the Dysons. That's the top priority because it means I don't have to drag the vacuum cleaners up and down stairs which would be really dangerous at the moment.Better is good enough.9

Good afternoon 😊
Lovely photo Pigpen I hope her journey is as painless as possible. Hugs to you and the family
Today I have cleaned the toilets & basins both upstairs & downstairs, cleaned both litter trays, cleaned the carpet behind the armchair 🤬 and done a food shop. Not much to show really. I am in a funk I think, and need a kick up the derriere!
It is grey & wet outside, so I may do some admin. At least that will be something crossed off my list! On a positive note - I submitted my tax return yesterday! It's not January yet - its not even December!! 😁 I think I am ahead on payments as well, but I will check that in a few days.
DHs car has passed its mot 👏 I will pop over tomorrow and pick up the invoice. Hopefully not too painful! 😬
I didn't sleep well last night - brain switched on to pointless stuff. I might try for an earlier night tonight.
Hugs, sticks & spoons to those that need them8 -
Thank you all. She growled at the vet which was satisfying. It was very much the right decision and she was so ill she was gone in seconds.
I did unclog Feargal before the vet and vacuumed the front room so that's the entirety of my flying.
