@EssexHebridean Oddbox isn't available in my area which is why I was so pleased to find an alternative!! I've had no issues with Evri locally - my little man is a gem and often leaves stuff well out of sight if I can't answer the door. It's not their normal delivery service, it's a "guaranteed" next day service because of course it's fresh products, so I think there's less chance of it going wrong and in fairness they did credit me straight back for the lost delivery.
@happydenial Thanks for sharing your experience as well, glad the customer service wasn't a personal thing! I did get the same "person" all the way through mine but I'm still not convinced they used anything other than pre written statements as they certainly didn't seem to be reading what I was actually saying!
@goldfinches their products themselves are genuinely very good indeed which is why it's such a shame their system appears to be letting them down so badly. As someone who works in IT providing customer service software to companies, it particularly irks me!!!I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Old Style, Crafting and Techie Stuff boards. If you need any help on these boards, do let me know. @PipneyJane we always had a goose for Christmas growing up. My Grandfather worked on his brothers farm so it was free I presume, later my Grandmother always bought one each year saying you really have to have Goose at Christmas. I remember it being a brown meat that is greasy, I think, I always had turkey.
Tesco has sent me the receipt for two weeks shopping which is£102.19/£100.00
(made up of two weeks at £50). The next shop will be around Friday 30th and again a budget of £50. I am over budget on each week but I am sure I have still spent less than I would have if I had set a monthly budget.*Stop giving up what you really want for what you want now*

I also love the explanation of why things are "wonky" - very insightful & helpful.
I noticed this morning that the Morries offers on their veg (buy 3 for 99p) make their regular veg the same or cheaper than their unreduced wonky things.Save £12k in 2025 #2 I am at £4863.32 out of £6000 after May (81.05%)

I've just taken the unilateral decision to skip our next veg box which would have been arriving between Christmas and new year. The thinking being - if they send me another flipping cabbage I'll either burst into tears or throw it t them, and this is a super-cheap time of year to buy basic veg, so makes sense to take advantage of that and "bank" the saving for any posher veg stuff we might want. The gap created (next delivery will now be mid January) will also give us a chance to see if it's something we want to continue with.🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

Just popped into Argos in Sainsburys. Whilst there I bought 2 bags of sprouts and 4 swedes for 19p each. Spent a happy hour prepping and freezing veg incuding making some puree out of left over tomatoes. Husband was chirping away in the background "why are you doing all of this work when you are so busy already!" i polished my halo and left him to it. 😂craft stash 2023 =161, 2024 = 119 2025 = £25.96 spent, 128 made and 5 mended,

Probably the last grocery shop before Christmas - apart from picking up the food for the actual day, which is a different budget and already paid for - so I added in some duplicates and things like posh crisps and a double pack of smoked salmon which I wouldn't usually buy, but fancied since it's Christmas. £32.72 left.Fashion on the Ration 2025 - 1.5 coupons remaining
