Didn't one participating company only offer entry into a prize draw as a reward?

Also bright, they admit they were late to the party and due to the fact they thought they would only attract limited numbers of people they created a £1000 prize draw for all subscribers that reduced their energy.

So it does appear the reward is not defined however changing the reward without notification as Eon Next have done this is where the issue is for those signed up to them.

After the eon next alleged 'one off experiment to benefit more customers' (from their forum) Ignoring the IDA I feel I can no longer trust them to follow the rules. So Im considering loop or perhaps the uSwitch (via Hildebrand I believe) going forward.

Can anyone say what eon next did with IDA on the test this week when they get their results as I was away and unable to take part.

The formula for calculating savings is industry wide, so that shouldn't be an issue. I suppose they could do something funky with the part they are paying from their own pocket, but that seems unlikely.
Not so unlikely Eon Next from the last event revoked the IDA in day adjustment period, pocketed the money from the IDA part of the formula....Happy days
Thanks for posting this on here so we know what's happening. I'm giving up, wasn't invited to 3 events in a row, then was invited to the last one. Made a big effort in the afternoon and expected an award of around £17. I've just received my email and I've got £0.98.

it would be better if all companies were running it in the same way. No confidence in EON Next now.

If you could live one day of your life over again, which day would you choose?

Isn't the trial an agreement between NG and the participating supplier (seeing as they have to bid into the NG scheme)? NG have laid out the terms under which they will pay the supplier, but does it actually say anywhere what the supplier must pass on to their customers? I mean, it clearly isn't good customer service, but I'm not sure if it is actually illegal?
I asked someone from NG who was seeking feedback on twitter

Are suppliers able to remove IDA from formula without prior notice to its participating customers ?? How does that improve or benefit more customers ???

"Thanks for flagging. We’ll take a look"
    Nice one👍

IDA not applied this week only kWh reduction in the event period T used so baseline usage was not adjusted in any way.  Results were within a few pence of my post-event prediction ignoring IDA.  In fact the IDA was also ignored for the 13th February event as well where I had made an effort to shift as much usage as I was able to for the T-1 to T-4 period.  I'm not a big user of electricity but even so the event reward for the 20th event was about 1/3 of what it would have been had IDA modified my baseline usage.

If anyone is thinking of moving to loop, I gained over £20 on the last session. Only changes made were one load of washing and tumble drying and 3 hours of car charging during the IDA.

Can I ask how many savings sessions are left?
