Strangely, it's not showing in my account.razord said:Another test tomorrow morning, 9-10am.
Opt-in won't be unavailable until after National Grid ESO have accepted bids at 4:30. Octopus usually get opt-in up within a couple of hours.jessmist said:So do Octopus have saver session tomorrow?
Octopus have had their bids accepted. Will be at the usual test event payout of 1800 octopoints per kWh saved2 -
Opt-in is now available.3

I'm only looking in my phone and it looks very small but it looks like some octopus bids rejected presumably due to asking too much. Yet the over all capacity has not met the demand. Presumably the grid don't mind as it's just a test.0

Yeh - same as normal. Octopus speculatively put higher bids in for every test, but the bulk goes in a £3/kWh. Anything higher than £3/kWh is always rejected for tests.Lorian said:I'm only looking in my phone and it looks very small but it looks like some octopus bids rejected presumably due asking too much?1 -
Looking forward to the saving session tomorrow. What is this bidding thing ya'll talking about?Warning: any unnecessary disclaimers appearing under my posts do not bear any connection with reality, either intended, accidental or otherwise. Your statutory rights are not affected.0

The energy suppliers get paid by the national grid to reduce usage by a certain amount, with reward payments at a certain price per unit. The suppliers put bids in and the grid accepts or declines their bids.ballisticbrian said:Looking forward to the saving session tomorrow. What is this bidding thing ya'll talking about?
