If you are signed up already for roundups you are definitely not in the draw. You need to switch them off, wait 24 hours, then switch on again
Can I find out when the current draw was announced and when I signed up to round ups?

It doesn’t really matter when it was, just switch off today and back on tomorrow and you will be in.

I make additional payments on my water bill of 2p (which is the minimum they allow). Results in a double round up of £1.96

How often do you do/are you doing this? Won’t NW/RBS view this as taking advantage?
  • Not with any of those banks but seriously considering.... also for the fun part of it. Although, with 5k sitting at RBS and 5k at NatWest I would be at PSA limit.

Would 2p debit card payments to top up Paypal work? Although, I guess Paypal would block the account quickly if you make several 2p transactions a day

I am having issues in how this works or am I doing something wrong?
In the NatWest App I choose to pay from my current account to my Halifax credit card £0.10.
The transaction goes through and shows on both NatWest and Halifax, yet nothing is round up or sent to the Digital Regular Saver account.

The Round Ups promotion only works for transactions using your debit card, not bank transfers. Can you credit your Halifax account with your NW debit card on the Halifax site/app?
  • I found that the round ups are not immediate - however I did use my card on a weekend so maybe that was why it waited till Monday before the round ups showed up in my Saver.

Ahh.. good point. Just tried it as you said. I’ll see what happens tomorrow.
    Thanks. 👍

Doesn’t appear to work… The payment using NatWest Debit Card went through and accepted on both Halifax and NatWest but no Round Up transfer took place.
