Slight problem. I signed up to become a fully fledged customer with Empire.

I received my order today and it appears i was given 50% off a £30 spend.

I have emailed Handbag and Empire as I have been ovecharged a tenner.

Just letting you know to check you order paperwork.
  • I ordered on Sunday and received my delivery yesterday. The invoice said I had spent £50 and they had taken that amount from my card. A quick two minute phone to the CS, gave them the code I had used and they are now refunding £25 to my credit card.

Thanks Da Lady I was struggling at this time of year to get some nice bikinis for my 1 month winter holiday in Kenya......of which I suspect I will start getting a tic from not being able to come on here :-[

The code was for £25 off if you spent £50 or over so if you onmly spent £30 they were kind and halved that ???

does anyone know how soon you get sent a confirmation email on an order?

I used the £25 off voucher yesterday on some pressies and have not received an email yet.

I didn't use a credit card just opened an account with them, though they have not sent me an email with those details either.

You do not get an email.

The credit checks take about a week.

You have to ring the 0845 number to find out whats going on i'm afraid.

Sorry for not understanding you - instead of calling the 0845 number use this one  ;)
