Happy New Year
The challenge has started and I haven't spent a penny - wow, I can't believe it!
Phoning re a couple of jobs first thing tomorrow - wish me luck! A bit of advice please, I'm stalling on doing my budget planner etc and using "not got an income/job yet to get realistic figures". Shall I bite the bullet and start or wait until I know what income is coming in?
Just want to thanks for the forum for their posts, it has motivated me to seriously think about my finances and how I have wasted money in the past. I'm actually looking forward to not spending any money!Save £12k in 2017 #14

Christmas 2015 - started to save/wrap!0 -
morning all. heres to a prosperous new year for us all.
Im hoping for a no-spend day today - shouldnt be hard given that everywhere is closed for the bank holiday.
My plan for the day is to go for a run (free exercise), make sausage rolls with ingredients bought for xmas (free food - in that its already in the fridge) and take the kids to the park (free entertainment).
Tomorrow I shall be cursing as my DD's come out and I have a chunk of mortgage arrears to pay off. But at least thats a large part of the months expenses dealt with.0 -
