Sorry to hear that MarkyMark, I would be upset if it was my 'real' car but now I'm sending my lovely old one to the car park in the sky, I don't mind so much! Gives me incentive to get rid of it at least.
As a teacher of disaffected kids, I am trying to get them to respect other people's property but to be honest, it's a lot of the 'normal' kids too. Still, trying to change the world, one kid at a timeThe 1,000 Day Challenge:Feb 16, 2016500/30,000

You've inspired me to join ipoints. Can't see anything I want from the rewards but maybe I'll be able to get a present from it sometime. Anything I can get for "nothing" has to be good. Just got £10 from a survey site  :j0

Cracked my tooth today  Trying to track down somewhere with emergency treatment open over the weekend. Typical that I'd do it on a bank holiday weekend  Not spent anything today, but now I'll be forking out for a dentist and the petrol to get there... Ah well, rather spend some cash than have a hole in my tooth!0

Hi BlueFleur: Ouch! Hope it all goes well!
MarkyMark and Bails: Sorry to hear about your cars. Mine is over 7 years old but I would go ballistics if I found it vandalised.
Bails: I saw the BM in Freecycle and as was in the next village from here I did reply but haven't heard a beep. Also there was one closer to you but too far for me to drive just to get one BM with current petrol prices. If I can get one from Freecycle then my points will definitely go towards Amazon vouchers as then I can keep buying my favourite books.
I have been demolishing some bushes in the front of the house as I got so tired of trying to get past them when coming to the house. Looks quite awful now but at least the path is now clear. Great anger management - recommended.
Going to London tomorrow and still haven't heard from ex if he wants to see his daughter while we are there. I was going to ask him to give her tea but I better not count on that. Got an idea for new short story (competition ends end of this month so time is running out) and need to get a photo of the location of the story while in London.
I have not cracked this grocery planning yet. I seem to need weekly top ups as I am always running out on something. I know what I need to buy it is just the quantities that I struggle with. Today had to go and get some bread and as I was there got some cheese, some joghurts for me and LO and eggs. And as it was getting late and didn't feel like cooking lunch bought chips and veggie sausages. LO enjoyed her lunch but the total of the shopping made nasty hole into my budget. Need to remember to update my signature and spreadsheet tomorrow.
LO has created a new habit to climbe into my bed between 2 and 3 am. I can't hear her sneaking in but shortly afterwards I wake up as I don't have any room and she also likes to pinch my ear when she is sleeping. So after carrying her back to her bed I can't get back to sleep. And then she is back jumping on me at half six. So I better go to bed now and read for awhile as it is so nice and quiet.
Have a good Easter everybody.

Our DD has only recently stopped having cot sides on her cot bed. And now she has the freedom to roam, she's exercising it with a vengeance. At least one night in two, we* will find a small person coming into the room and reaching out to Mummy to be lifted into bed.
* actually, my OH because I always, always sleep through any noise in the night, even when DD was tiny and screaming.
So I wake up every day or two finding a tiny person between me and the OH, completely oblivious to how she's got there!
Fortunately our bed is king sized and we aren't huge, so 2 adults and 1 tiny fit in quite nicely.
She also doesn't tend to wake up early in the morning to mither us, so that's a good thing.0 -

One of my daughters would not sleep in our bed from being born she always wanted to be in her cot which was a bit of a pain as I liked to doze while I was feeding although it seems to be frowned on now by the so called "experts"0 -

Best thing I've ever been givenis my breadmaker.I got it as a xmas pressie and have not bought a loaf or rolls since then.I've even made hot cross buns this weekend. The kids love HM bread and are choosing rolls as snacks over anything else.Bread and jam for breakfast instead of cereal. It's fantastic.Don't talk yourself out of it.Go for it.I find that because I don't pop to the shop for bread I'm saving a fortune as I don't get tempted by anything else I might have seen lollost my way but now I'm back ! roll on 2013
