Glad you had a great time out with DD and I did mean 'Molly' and not 'Millymop' OOPS! I've worn the letters off my keyboard and can't touch type, hence all the errors and typos I need to keep editing :rotfl:
Re the overpayment in tax - the past couple of years I have had a P60 issued from each employer plus I submit my tax return for Fulltime self-employment. I think it's because some companies won't allow you to work self-employed, they prefer to employ you temporarily or on a part time basis so they keep control of the tax situation. Apparently, they are responsible for making sure everyone they pay actually does pay income tax on earnings, or something like that. With multiple employers, it means I can't hand over a p45 as it's held elsewhere. I just hope I can remember where! My main 'job' is being self employed, so any subsequent part time / relief / temporary employment is classed as second income I think.
I am waaaaaaaaaaay behind with work today, I need some inspiration!I reserve the right not to spend.
The less I spend, the more I can afford.

I've not managed to catch up with all the posts because I was becoming a granny again. Darling GD arrived and all is well. My budget is blown but I'm happy to buy for her and her big brother who seems to have taken a liking to her, thank goodness! It's great to be able to budget so that money is there when you want to splash out a little. All you frugalites who are aiming for a debt-free future, you are on the right track. It's worth it. Keep frugalling." The greatest wealth is to live content with little."

Congratulations form me too lilac_lady!!!
I have been on a hunt for a free bread maker. I found a website called ipoints.co.uk and if I can collect 7,900 points I get a bread maker. I have been busy and got up to 2,290 today but then ran out of steam. So 5,610 to go. As it happens one lot of the free points I got was from registering to a website that lists bingo sites that offer free games. Need to check those out tomorrow as too sleepy now.
Nyk thank you so much for that link. I had a quick look and saved it in my bookmarks and read it properly over the weekend. I got a message back from the college with great news that I can get my tuition fee free. My only cost over two years would be about £300.-. Now I need to figure out how I am going to live two years while I am studying. I think an email to CAB is needed.
Good night to all,

Congratulations lilac_lady on the safe arrival of your GD:heartpuls I'ts always lovely to hear of babies being born.
mollymop- sounds like you had a lovely day out with your DD,i remember the days when my DD got excited over hair bands and a trip to Claires was so cool:cool: . Her tastes are a little more expensive these days at 16:rolleyes:
Nyk- Hope you found your inspiration and got some work done;)
To everyone else hope you have had a good day:D .
Not much to report today in the frugal stakes, just been to asda shopping for catering for oldies this weekend. Got a few bargains for them packs of hot x buns reduced to 10p, and bags of prepared salad for 10p:D Don't normally buy prepared salad but got 10 big bags for £1 which was cheaper than I would have paid for mixed lettuces for 40 people. Saved quite a bit on "their" budget one way and another tonight.Didn't need anything for myself:D
Was looking out for things to try in the dehydrator but nothing tonight:rolleyes: .No food shopping needed for Easter in our household as I am cooking oldies hot x buns for late breakfast tomorrow, buffet for a party in the evening ,then roast on Sunday, and we will be joining them. Saturday and Monday will be storecupboard days, and will also be strictly family days - no work. I intend to be very frugal and do nothing and go nowhere, just relax and pootle about the house:D.(i love pootling:rotfl: )
Anyone doing anything exciting over the holiday??0 -
congratulations!:beer:lilac lady
that makes 2 baby frugals in a week!

Marru I'm so jealous of the points! I've been working through the site for two days and I'm only up to 390 or so
I'm wondering what to do with £30 that I was given for Easter. Pay off debt, buy some petrol (need some very soon) or fund seeing my bf. Or a combination of the three... I'm also hunting for some work I can fit in around mum/uni. It'll be a weekend of sorting my finances out! Maybe I'll fit some pootling in too0 -
Congratulations lilaclady
Seems to be a run on baby girls at the mo..........everyone say Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaahlost my way but now I'm back ! roll on 2013
