Arrgh - go away from the 'puter for a couple of days and what do I find .... I'm 12 pages behind  :rotfl:
ah well, it's been a very unfrugal fortnight, now to be followed by counting logs, watching everyone's every move and sitting shivering until I HAVE to light the fire! THAT sort of fortnight to come. On the bright side, I don't mind doing that, and I don't have to buy any meat for about another 6 months! Vegetables are mostly coming via end of day sales when I do go into town, as little as possible currently, and anything else is bought as a treat by someone else's purseCan't complain
Hope everyone who's had a bad time recently is feeling a little better with the increased sunshine, I know I am. It is definitely Spring, despite the snow. :j:T:j:T:jIf you see me on here - shout at me to get off and go and get something useful done!!0 -
Have you got snow yet, then, RedDragon? It was supposed to arrive around 3pm here but it doesn't look very likely at the moment - bright sunshine outside my window.0
-
Not really, just the odd flake - looks like someone fluffing up a pillow somewhere and a little down escapes every half an hour or so
It's bright sunshine at the mo' so I'm off to gather some sticks for the fire. I'm sure Janey51 would approve ...

I've had a waiting kind of day today. The chap who called me to say he'd be here today to service my boiler and gas fire didn't turn up. No phone call to let me know so I'm not too happy with him. I took a day off work but when I realised that he was a "no-show", dragged everything out of a cupboard, threw out some stuff, put all my dusters, cleaning brushes etc in one place, looked over my makeup and face stuff, chucked a few items and found a proper place for the rest of it.
TV channel hopped a bit and was fascinated by the jewellery channels. i don't think the people who buy the "bargains" are MSE-ers!" The greatest wealth is to live content with little."
