It is so great to read your posts. Watched DS at school swimming first thing today, then to the bank to pay in some money for the business. (I used to hate chasing up money owed to me but am getting much better now, although I still find dealing with money very embarrassing).
Then off to my friend's for coffee and to see how how chemo is going (very well; only side effect so far is that she is very sleepy & has to have afternoon naps. She looks fantastic actually as she is a lot more chilled out than she used to be).
Then popped into my parents to give back the vac we had borrowed. My sister is giving us her old one eventually, which is great news as I'm getting very tight now.
And we've been invited to lunch to eat up yesterday's left overs!
So have got to try to pack in SOME work today! See you later.:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Because these weirdos are your true family.0 -
PS. I have, for the time being, stopped adding up my spends so I don't feel like the world is crashing down on us. It's enough to do to just try to spend as little as possible.
Made mum her mother's day card. Gave her a book that I'd got for her bday hamper so that made use of previously spent stuff.:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Mumzy when you are shopping for fruit and veg there are some great stalls on the market in chorley that are well cheaper than the supermarkets. If you get there saturday afternoon you can often get great bargains - whole trays of mushrooms for £1 or carrier bag of bananas etc for £1.
In summer i get stuff for jam making there last year I got 20 punnets of strawbwrries for £1.50 and loads of other bargains.
How often do you go shopping - Maybe I could give you a lift sometimes if you could get OH to have the kids as I have no car seats.0 -
