well last night i made 2 loaves of bread, a banana and walnut loaf (brown banana's and reduced price walnuts) and a cherry and yogurt cake (greek yogurt past its sell by date+ 1/4 tub of glace cherries I've had for ages and never used up!
Felt very virtuos, also managed to go to gym this morning (biking up in the rain) and arrange to switch over to cheaper deal (£12/month instead of £27)
Then came home,m freezing cold and wet through only to find electricity bill saying DD was going up from £43 to £70. I just can't bear economising on being warm! DS gets ill very easily and I do need some light to work by even during the day (we have a very dark house!)
Trying to cut down on tumbledryer use, but at this time of year its the only way to get things dry half the time.Trying to do approx 1 load on airer and one in tumble dryer.
Have 2 loads of washing a day (DS throws up regularly so we oftne have an entire bedding set to wash 2-3 times a week)
I have heating set to 19-20 and timed between 6.30am-9.30am and then 3.30pm - 9.30pm. May see if I can bear to have it 7-9am then 4-9pm.
just off to make tea and get a hottie!DEBT: £500 credit card £800 Bank overdraft

Who walks round the house in the dark to save the electric?
I light the tealight candle lantern but if that's already gone out, ... why d'ye think people have torches on their mobiles?I reserve the right not to spend.
The less I spend, the more I can afford.
