make sure you have
(quote=username) ... (/quote)
or it won't come up as a quote. () should be []
You shouldn't need to do anything to the quoted text0 -

Phew just caught up with you all, glad to hear everyone seems to be feeling better today, I spent money Wednesday night, I got horrendously drunk, I think it only cost me £20 and I went in the club where I work and there was some money there I'd forgotten about - £14! Then today I got a taxi to a job interview as I didn't know where I was going, I did get the bus back I've still spent about £11 but I got the job so at least being stuck in an office wil keep me from spending. Being taken to the zoo tomorrow not taking much money out with me. Hope you all have fabulous weekends and have fun making soups and bread, I tried making bread earlier in the week, my dad referrred to them as pebbles!0

Would have been a NSD except for a insurance DD. And can't make a decision whether I need this insurance... Its mortgage protection against accident and sickness - my job gives me six months full pay and sixs months half pay (and if I'm still not back I think its six months full pay again and so on). It doesn't cover me against losing my job although the council couldn't afford to make everyone at my level redundant. And then because its shared ownership I would still need to find the rent. So I sort of feel I don't, but cancelling it would feel like I was inviting trouble... Any advice welcome.
I worked for my local council and the sick pay depended on length of service, my mortgage advisor had me check it out as I assumed I was 6 months ful 6 months half, as I had only been there for 3 years I got 3 months full 3 months half. After this time then I would have gone on to Stautory Sick Pay (SSP) which is not much money, if you were to get ill and be off work and your income got reduced (hopefully not) then you could always try housing benefit to cover the rent as thats what they're there for.
Best thing to do would be to weigh up yourself, have you any on going long term ilnesses (which the insurance may not cover anyway) and other risks and also read the insurance documents. I decided I didn't need the protection as there was a low risk I would get ill or lose my job. I did actually end up being ill and being off for 6 months but as I was too ill to look after myself I moved in with my parents which worked out better for me, you can't really decide based on something thats unknown, no one knew I would get as ill as I was or that I'd be ill for a long time, if it's going to keep you awake worrying 'what if I get ill' then keep it, maybe look round see if you can get sufficient cover cheaper elsewhere? HTH, sorry if it's a bit rambling, I'm shattered!0
