Can Vinted be used on a laptop?

I find the desktop version problematic, especially in Firefox but also Microsoft Edge. I have never tried Vinted in Chrome.

In Firefox it works fine for approximately two weeks but then I find I am unable to access the inbox, and I can only use the general search box on the homepage, but not from any other page of the site. That usually lasts for a few days and then goes back to normal. I have never had a problem on iPad using the Safari broswer.

I use Vinted more and more lately  (i'm only ever a buyer) as the sellers tend to respond far better to queries.

That said, over the past couple of weeks this too is becoming a pet peeve of mine as out of 5 sellers contacted only 3 have responded, i follow up after a week if they've not replied 1st time, and then i'll ask a 3rd - if still no contact from them i'll not make the purchase.

I'm very, very, aware that i sound like a broken record with this constant vent but - i buy clothes, and when there are no measurements provided (simply the dress size) i contact and ask for them so i don't end up with something i can't wear if they don't accept returns - or have the hassle of returning it.

    First, take responsibility .....

I can access Vinted on my chromebook but I use it mainly for searching items as you can also see the postage options the seller offers that way.  I do my actual buying and selling via my phone.

A big peeve of mine ....  sellers not responding to questions asked about items they have listed with "jumper" or "dress" in the description box. Come on now, surely they could expand on that? even just a little?

I put as much detail as I can into my listings, including fabric content and I will answer any questions asked. I'm happy to say I've never had a problem with somebody wanting to return their purchase  :)

I'm just dipping my toes into the Vinted waters, and have put a Beany Bear up for sale, for just 50p over the site recommended of £2.50.

Half an hour, at most, later, I've had a buyer, but when click on 'Get shipping label', I get a page asking for their first and last names, and DOB. All I see is a user name.

There's also a 'billing address', which I assume would be mine.

Perhaps if I'd gone back and found the way to limit the post options as the tips sheet suggested, this wouldn't be a problem, but as it is, I'll have to 'activate' and see what happens, I guess.

That should be 'site recommended price'. I miss out words, sometimes.

    'I', as well.

Still not quite ready to activate.

That’s a scam , the page should show as item sold and either a label download (from Vinted not a third party site) or instructions in case you are using RM.

if you check the forums, which are very helpful, there a regular user who bumps several posts regularly about scams.

Also if you check your item it will almost certainly still be showing as available to buy. On Vinted there is never ever a need to go off site to print labels or provide info.
