The buyer's user name is bxthlouisx, and they supposedly have six stars, unless that's also fake.

Should Vinted be on to this kind of thing?

It does show up as 'Sold, but I don't see an option for downloading a label. My user name is Jo3hunt3r (I've been on UC since my wife, who was on DLA, died before Xmas).

Probably hacked.

Vinted are on to this sort of thing, hence their FAQs and advice to new sellers about how to avoid scams.

I have no outstanding sales to cut and paste, but this is the basic message you get in your inbox from Vinted when something sells

"Sold!

After the buyer receives this order, £10 will be transferred to your Balance. The buyer also bought you a shipping label. Get it and send the item." 

 Below that will be a link that says you can download the label, click download open label safely and print. 

Some new sellers get confused between an accepted offer and a sale, nothing is sold until VInted tells you buyer has paid, an offer is just an offer until it is paid for. Some scammers make an offer and then send you their delivery details for postage, but if there isn't a label provided pre paid then it is a scam- unless you allow RM postage in which case you will be provided with the buyers address to enable you to do your own label.

If it is a digital label then I still print the QR code , but you can actually take an Inpost item to an inpost locker and scan the QR code there, or if it is Evri take it to a parcel shop and scan the code there.

If you print your own labels you can print an Evri one and it can go into an Inpost box, but you can't send an Evri parcel with a QR code that way. 

When you have a moment make a drink sit down and read some of the forum threads.

This is what I got from Vinted, via vinted.co.uk team (no-reply@vinted.co.uk). I have four days now.

Hello jo3hunt3r,

bxthlouisx has bought Ty Beanie Baby Millennium Bear (January).

We will transfer the buyer's payment to your Vinted Balance once the order is completed.

Please send this order within 5 days.

Here’s what you need to do:

1. Go to the message thread between you and the buyer to generate your shipping label.
2. Follow the first steps on Vinted, and then the final steps in the email that arrives after your label is created.
3. If you need to print the label and attach it, always make sure there is no tape covering the barcode – even clear tape can get in the way of scanning. You can use your own packaging, or buy a separate envelope or box.

It’s also a good idea to get in touch with bxthlouisx and let them know when you've sent the item.

Ah, that might be the explanation then. I assumed you had properly registered with all your details on Vinted , it appears you sold before adding a full profile - which I didn’t think was possible before selling.

Does the item show as sold if you check your listings via your profile? have you checked your settings via profile to see if all your details are properly recorded, name address etc?

Ultimately see what the regulars on Vinted say on your thread, many of them have been doing this a lot longer than me. 

When I signed up I completed my details in full before listing items for sale, which is why I suppose it seemed simpler.

One simple question please- do you have a pending balance showing that matches the item price that you sold?
