Message on the website said they couldn't retrieve my readings for the session so will credit the average savings, likely to be more than I would have got if they managed the get my readings!  I wonder why it didn't work....hmmm.
They won't get the readings until they do their daily pull overnight.
Yeah that makes sense but that doesn't/didn't explain the "We're Sorry" message but I see that message was an error.

    Octopus website message now updated.
It also says 288,300 took part in this session. Which is approx 300 fewer than were ahead of me in the queue on Tesco website this morning to book Christmas delivery slot.
    I’ll get my coat.

Damn, forgot that was today  :#
  • I'm not sure what I saved over my low normal but managed to only use 10 watts (boiler control I think) and wasn't impacted. It'll be interesting to see the overall outcome.

I had an email from Octopus this morning saying: "You'll earn 1800 OctoPoints – that's £2.25 worth – for every unit of electricity you cut down between 5:00 PM and 6:00 PM on 15th November.    "

So is it the same time period for everyone else? (I'm in Norwich.)

780Wh saved by my own count (using the previous figures from that slot in the app).
Won't earn me a lot but will pay for the rest of the day's import + sc.

  • 288300 customers were involved in the last session (5-6pm on 15th November)
So I guess that it may take some time before the results are available

If I was half as smart as I think I am - I'd be twice as smart as I REALLY am.
