My switch date is\was today. Should I expect a text tomorrow to say it's done?0

I had a glitch which meant phoning CS and they supposedly fixed it......
I'm guessing they did not so I'll be ringing tomorrow I guess.0 -
Applied on the 18th November. Apart from the initial acceptance email and the email containing the sort code and account number, not heard anything from the co op. Might be driven by the postal strikes, but haven’t received the card or pin or anything else from the co op in regards to the account yet.The only way I know that the switch is going ahead as planned on the 13th is a text and email from my old bank confirming it.Their online and mobile banking is very basic and poor too. The app on my iPhone 14 pro doesn’t seem like it’s compatible making the app virtually useless.Overall not very impressed. Defo an account I’m gonna switch as soon as I have received the incentive.0

They have just released the new version of the mobile app for iOS which works really well on my iPhone 14 Pro. It looks hugely better than the previous app.1

It is fairly basic, but allows you to do the important things like keeping track of transactions, direct debits, standing orders and payees. It lacks a cheque deposit facility and card utilities but most of what you need is there. I certainly don't miss anything - apart from not being able to see pending transactions, but the Co-operative Bank doesn't do that in its web interface either. It's better than some but not as good as others. Having said that I had an account with Barclays - some see the Barclays mobile app as the Swiss Army knife of apps but I found it far too busy and not nice to use. I tend to favour simplicity over complexity.

If switching online at same time as apply for coop account, is it just the debit card number and expiry date that are needed?0

I just needed sort code and account number. Wasn't asked for any debit card details 🤷♂️1
