Should be fine, as above I would wait until you have your account details so there's no way that your wife's can somehow be opened before yours - a letter should arrive with these details soon.

My fiancée received hers in the post today having applied on Saturday.

I have just received my sort code and account number by email. Do I need to wait till the switch completes on 1st December to claim my referral bonus?

Annoyingly, they do not want me as a customer.
I have had a Co-op current account in the past but closed it to switch to a different bank for an incentive. I did not ask for an overdraft so I am a bit confused by their email. I don't think I have ever been rejected when applying for any of my multiple bank accounts. I have done a few recently.

Here is part of the email they sent me.

Thank you for your recent application for a Current Account. Regrettably, after careful consideration we are unable to open the account you requested.

We considered the information supplied with your application, including your current income and expenditure, and information provided by one or more credit reference agencies. This doesn't mean that you've got a bad credit rating, however, we are concerned that further lending may overcommit you financially.

you can submit the form now and then once switch is complete you can expect bonus soon, or some may argue that you should wait till 1st Dec and then submit the form.  People I am referring they have all submitted the form as soon as they got their details and soon after switching they have got the bonus, like in next 2-3 working days.  If you want to wait then you can wait, their is no harm, just that you will get bonus later.

Open new account and receive account details (2-3 working days)

Carry out full CASS switch (7 working days) and claim

Await bonus (2-3 working days)

I make that a total of 11-13 working days as the best case. Yet here we are on working day 9 of the offer with people having received their bonus. I wish I knew their secret.

as mentioned in my previous post "some may argue".

Between me and OH we have referred to 8 people where all have followed this and all 8 plus us got bonus as well, only care about the bonuses that we received, doesnt matter for me if its "factually correct" or not.

How do you know/ what makes you think that if someone submits referral claim form after switch completes in your words?

or in my words that bonus get paid out in any different timescale whether submit form early or in line with instruction on referral claim form.
