Quite a bit of rain here. I managed my lake swim but rather foolishly omitted to pack my towel.......drove home in my Dryrobe and nothing else....bare feet as my feet were too wet to fit into my fur boots.
Mr N has my admiration for doing a huge flying session on the Aga which is now shiny on parts we never knew could shine.
I've nearly finished another report, caught up on a training webinar and a few emails.
Sure I must have done something else but I can't remember what.Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.11 -
Been pottering in the office sorting through receipts and uploading work ones to either hub doc or xero as appropriate. For the xero ones (reimbursable expenses) I take a photo on my phone, email it to my work email, download it then upload to xero.
Then I shred the receipts, so that’s flingage=flying.
Ive also cleaned the oven doors, emptied DW and folded dry laundry from TD.
Handbag emptied. Cleaned roller bar of vacuum. My bed stripped and remade.
mmm. Didn’t realise I had done as much as I have. *Pats self on back*Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

I don't even know when I last posted.. My kitchen side is still clean, we did a tip run after EC cleaned the pit and generated 8 loads of laundry I can't get dry and 5 binbags of rubbish we had to take to tip with a bunch of dead underlay, a dead memory foam mattress topper and a sofa cushion.. much flingage.I managed to wash my hair last night.Tomorrow the bath taps need tightening and gacking up with plumbers mait.. and the bathroom sink waste and we need to check the back of the shower for leaks.. my kitchen ceiling just fell in from the water damage.. I'd say it never rains.. but it rained.. in my kitchen!!
Boog has been a prize fluffing male chicken... I am so done with the CF attitude.. they get more like that every day.. I am so done! So much drama because I refused to get involved in the argument between them and Moomin over the lid from a wax pot.. £8 .. I am just not getting in there, they are both adults.. not my circus!
Christmas shopping looking possible but only just and I will not be able to do my mothers too unless the flings me the quids, I simply do not have it to lay out.. again.. not a me problem.
DW been on twice, fryer away, I bossed OH to do dinner so he fed himself and the 4 girls.. I wish I could get away with that!! He also left ALL the packaging on the sides.. I cleared all that and emptied and loaded the DW while waiting for my toast.. speed cleaning! Definitely the way I work!
I am gathering all my quids into one account tomorrow so I know exactly how much I have for christmassing. I also need to request my topcashback wallet (£115) as a B&M card so that will cover the stocking filler shop. That was almost £400 last year!
DS2, Clawbs, Boog, Meem, Pixie and my stepdad I need to figure out what they are getting, I have done or know what I am doing for everyone else.
Dot was vile at dance class so they are putting her on her last chance.. That will be kicked out of swimming, tap and ballet.. I only managed to be hoofed out of Brownies.. Trying to think what extra curricular thing we can have her try next, she cannot spend her life sat at home on the ipad!
Crisps and fruit pastilles in the tin.. and some pink&whites ... if anyone is lurking

Morning all,
Please can I hire Mr Narc0 for flying duties?!
Wm and dw on. DH suggested that I might like to go to the allotment to get my - very late - cabbage plants planted. Err no, steady drizzle and mud is not attractive to me this morning, but thank you for thinking of me…
Last night’s sc veggie stew and dumplings was a success and enough for another meal in the week. Meal planning will occur today, taking into account that we have friends coming to stay next weekend. Admin is on the list - yawn - as, like Valli, it is too close to the day job for me to ever contemplate doing in the evening. It is usually scheduled for the afternoon of my day off, but seems to have got out of control lately.
Have a good day all. I hope all are well - Iona, you are at the top of my asking list…x9 -
Hope you get the bathroom sorted Pigpen, and speed cleaning is definitely the way to go.
Restless night, lots of dreaming. Doing a bit of paperwork for DHs business, grey cold and damp here. Not sure what the plan is, I was hoping to get to the coast for a walk but not sure that DH is up for moving far. We will see.
The hoover really does need to come out.10 -

This morning I took 6 separate piles of things with me to church and returned them to their proper homes or found new ones for them [fer-ling!], and spoke to someone about taking over another job that I used to do. Several items have been crossed off my to-do list, and another load of stuff will leave the landing cupboard next week or even sooner
Called at MrS on my way home to get another thermal top, made lunch, felt grotty, so have slept for an hour. Better now, and about to take Rosie for her walk before it has a chance to rain again. Everything is yucky wet and therefore cold.
I am still trying to conquer the sewing frog - have finished cutting out various pieces and "just" have to put them together in the right order. I have no pattern for what I'm making, so even getting that far has been a struggle, and I can only work in daylight. Hopefully I can make more progress tomorrow morning. The house is clean and tidy, and the spare bed is clear of everything except Christmas presents. The remaining pile of unwanted books will leave the house on Tuesday.
Thanks, Fayolle x
Hope everyone makes some time to relax today xxx8
