I've spent the last two days backing up the videos and photos on my phone so I can record more videos. I need the memory space as I want to attempt a 3rd pairing of my dwarf tarantulas tonight (1st time neither interested, 2nd time lots of interest but not sure if the boy was sucessful).Tonights to-dos:
Water the scorplings and attempt to feed the two that didn't eat the other day.

I am going to attempt the vacuuming of the living room whilst OH cooks dinner. I can't remember the last time I vacuumed the sofas
so will try that too.
I've got a banging headache this evening and could quite happily fall asleep right now! Got back from work late again and went for a walk straight away. I fancy a fire and a scary film tonight after tea!£2023 in 2023 challenge - £17.79 January11 -
Thank you for the lists, Natty and Valli. Always appreciated although I seem to fall further and further off track these days. Another guilty of getting into the habit of leaving it all until the weekend. The dark evenings aren’t going to help with that one.
Came home from work in torrential rain. Luckily DH seems to have got the towels from this morning’s wm x1 pretty much dry outside earlier in the day.Would like to crack on with the new knitting this evening (easy oversized jumper pattern for DD for Christmas, if I get a wiggle on). I don’t have the right size needles, so either need to wait until tomorrow and go and buy a pair of huge 9mm ones (about the only size I apparently don’t possess apart from 8mm) or use the 7mm that I have and take a chance that oversized becomes normal size. I know that I should wait, but the temptation to get going is so strong…
I hope all poorlies are feeling better x10 -
Nothing done today. I have pulled my shoulder carrying shoping (I think) and breathing hurts. Miss Squizz's bedroom is having to wait until it is feeling better. Thankfully the 'comfy' position is knitting position so I can continue with the cardy for the new grandbeast.. we need to hurry up with those since we have 3 months less than we usually have to knit all the things.DW x2TDdinner and packups donepanto tickets paid forSalt form sent back for Dot.. I haven't done the one for Squeak because it is pointless.
Dr's are utterly dim.. I asked for the login in deets to check on a referral and they said I had cancelled the referral.. I said no, there were 2 I cancelled one and not the other... waiting on their reply! Though if this shoulder is worse tomorrow I may end up ringing them.
I have a sad Pixie because she lost her little green plastic shark at school.. I gave her a tiny squishy fishy... Twinkle was then upset because Pixie got a thing because she was upset.. and Dot is upset because everyone else is upset.
OH is upset.. work were supposed to be changing his hours to 10-6 so he could spend more time with the children and swap his friday for a sunday.. he would work 8 hours Sunday but gain 13 hours with the girls during the week.. his new rota today said 12-8 mon-thurs so just the same and 9-5 Sunday.. so he would lose 3 hours with the girls... that was a big nope so he is distressed because he is now changing to another team. *sigh*LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)8 -

Morning all. Sorry Raphael but you've made me laugh. When I probably shouldn't.
Plans for today
admin
dailies
walk dog
paid stuff
I think a workman might be coming to do something and I'm waiting on a delivery. Oh and DH needs to take the car for new tyres.
That will do.
Have a great day everyone.Spend less now, work less later.9 -
Morning all,
After a long stint in the WAC again, I have plans for today:
the put-off admin
trip to small town, which gives DD’s car a run in this awful weather, and hopefully crosses a couple of things off a list that has been hanging around for far too long
clean downstairs
Mr M delivery at lunchtime
Not necessarily in that order
Raphael, I’m not so sure that the female spood didn’t have the right idea. Sorry, I smiled too.
Have a good day all x9 -

Morning all.
1st of the month financial check done - not made better by the fact that I went shopping yesterday, before almost all November's Direct Debits were taken this morning- but it just means being firm now about not making anything except essential purchases until next week's pension lands in my account. Having said that, I've arranged to go out for coffee with a friend today and it's my turn to pay, but I'm counting it as essential to my wellbeing
I don't have any other outings planned this week, and my meal plan is based on what I already have in the FF and kitchen cupboards.
I am pleased to report that I can now see the floor (less than 1m²) in the cupboard on the landing, having excavated a few toys (leftover from the Mums and Toddlers) and other bits to go to the church Christmas fair. I also have a growing pile of books to take to college next week for the current students to pick over, whilst smaller piles of various things destined for other people adorn the spare bed. However, the top of the c-o-d in my study is still clear of detritus several weeks after the purge. I'm even remembering to water the houseplant
My last cuppa was 2 hours ago, so it's time for another now. Best get moving! Hope everyone has a good day, especially Honey_Bear. (((Hugs))) spoons and sticks here if you need them xxx
