Lots of good advice but I suggest you request the statement then park the pension until you have the headspace to deal with it.  Truly I think you should spend time planning 7 nice things a week while you’re on holidays.  You need a reminder of what makes life worth living.

    Excellent advice!

I agree - that's the other half of your planning, need to know what you want so you can put it together with what you've got to work with   :)

I don’t find the Teacher’s Pension online service particularly easy to access. Does your school have FAs that come in and try to explain it? I think I’m in 3 different phases of the pension scheme - totally baffles me.
Hope you are able to relax and have got to the end of the school year.

I’m glad you’re managing to have some sort of social life even if it’s just during the day. It will do you good to get out.

Plans for your room sound good, you need a nice space of your own to relax in.

    Sending hugs x

  • Good to hear from you. Get that things are more ticking over than great.  Take whatever help you are offered as too many people and pets rely on you so you can’t afford to burn out.

Will one of your friends come and mum sit for an evening? Or one of the neighbours? Not right up to bedtime, just the bit that’s stopping you going out before.

ps good to hear from you!
