Hi Hetty, I hope Alex had a really lovely birthday, even though he still had to go to school. 🙄 Still, at least it snowed!! The weather knows what to do alright, it just doesn't snow until the warm weather meets the bitterly cold!!

You're right Saver-upper, it's always great to see a busy thread, long may it continue! It's been the same for me as you re change, so until our darling Jessie died I'd been transferring money from our bank account to an SPC account. I've got to wait a while to do the same again.

Hi everyone, slow potting here, weekly change from youngest activity only lately but I did get £8 in change yesterday so it went in the pot too.

I'm off to fight a teen in to waking up for home learning while the teachers strike. It's like pulling teeth. I hope they can strike a fair deal soon he's asd hates being out of routine, and the attitude is another level lately (entirely him and not his autism as its new and arriving with a deep voice and fluffy facial hairs).

Whoo Hoo!!!! I  (or rather DG2)  counted up my copper and 5p tin and another small tin with 20 and 10p coins in and the total is £47.65!!! Straight into mmy sealed pot they go.

It's pouring down here this morning, a day for staying in, I think 🤔 We had a day out yesterday and went to see The Mousetrap. Absolutely brilliant, I love Agatha Christie 😍 one of my favourite authors. First theatre trip since 2019! It's been far too long.

I've been potting away, lost track of what has gone in the bottle though.  Also been clearing out and selling stuff so got some bigger money going into online pot.  Going to need it as have been warned that I may be made redundant in the near future!
