#32 I potted £21 in February. (I count up at the end of each month and bank what I can.) I’ve bags of 20ps, 5ps, 2ps and 1ps nearing being full.

Aw sounds like Jessie was a very lovely, gentle pet 😍 with beautiful manners 💕

The sun is shining here today, but it's turned cold again. They are predicting snow again, but I'm a bit dubious.

Another fiver in the pot. Keep warm and well everyone 😊

    Good evening everyone  :)

I haven't been posting on here, but I HAVE been potting - even after my little jaunt to see my friend in Dubai over February half term.  The time away from my normal routine was very welcome!

So, on to the potting.  I had payday, so I was able to sweep a little into my (virtual) pot and I've just potted £12.84 from TopCashback.  I know that last time I'd potted a load from TopCashback on the back of my holiday in Canada last year.  I'd booked all of my accommodation through Expedia and had received 10% cashback on each stay.  It's never guaranteed, but I'd have stayed there anyway, as I went on a road trip with my cousin out there.

Loving the chat about pets.  Our last dog was effectively a food hoover - she ensured that anything accidentally dropped was soon picked up!

Thanks so much, Siju, she most definitely was.
We woke up up to it raining today, and very cold!

Re the snow, I'm afraid if you don't get  snow again, you'll be extremely lucky! Sorry! This last bitter weather, and the snow, has all been brought about by the Sudden Stratospheric Warming which took place in the stratosphere in mid February. It's all to do with the way the wind moves around up in the stratosphere and how it affects the Jet Stream; a bit like The Beast for the East in 2018, but luckily, won't be so bad this time around!
As you undoubtedly know, the snow has been quite bad in Scotland today and the Arctic air has blown down and covered the entire country; but through tonight the warm air is coming on up from other countries, and when the warm air meets the cold....we get snow 🌨️🌨️🌨️ Firstly it'll hit the south coast, and then come on up and, yes Wales is already included in the yellow warning zone, so you and I and many others will most likely wake up to a white blanket in the morning!! Hopefully, it won't last too long this time, but there could well be more a couple of days later in area from N Wales on up through. There's so it all depends on, mostly the Jet Stream and lows coming in!
BTW, I'm extremely interested in the weather and  took an online course on it a few years ago, it was brilliant, and yes, I passed with a certificate!! 😊 Anything weather related always gets my ears pricked up.
Really well done on potting another £5er!!

Hi Vicky! So a very well-earned break in Dubai! I'm so very pleased for you, especially given your work!
     Brilliant potting. Excellent TopCash rewards!!!!
We were mostly talking about dogs as T and I have recently lost our 12 year old beloved Labrador (Feb 24th),  she had a growth for a long while, but it finally burst early that morning. It was heartbreaking as is the loss of all of our pets, then Siju and I were reminiscing about the differences between her and ours, both now sadly passed. Please don't think 'Oh know, trust me to put my foot in it'; it's quite natural as there was nothing about Jessie and Monty on this page anyway. I'm so pleased you've enjoyed your wonderful time away Vicky.

Have a good Wednesday, everyone! Keep warm and safe.

    Sue

NB folks: Declaration date is ON THE 26TH October 2023!
    BEFORE if you like
    BUT NO AFTER PLEASE!

Anyone wishing to join us, it's NEVER too late! So please just ask and you

    will be made very welcome.
