BTW Siju, our much-loved Labrador, Jessie, very sadly was put to sleep at midday today after her long battle with cancer. Very sad indeed and we're both so terribly disheartened.  

Very well done in not adding up what was in your pot, SummerDays. It sounds as if you're in for a lovely surprise on 26th October!! 😃

What can anyone say when you lose a beloved pet @Sue-UU
We take them on knowing that one day they will break our hearts. They give us so much for the relatively short time they are with us. I’ll give my old snuffly increasingly scruffy ginger cat some extra love tonight, remembering that every single day we have with them is a real gift. I am sure you will have many wonderful memories of your beloved Jessie, and you will remember her forever. As my Auntie says, the price of love is pain

I’m adding up monthly totals and paying into bank when loose change can be bagged up. 

This week I’ve added £20 after my friend paid me back for something I bought her, with an extra £2 included.

@Sue-UU sorry big gap yet again. I was convinced its been covid as it felt a lot like the first time i caught that but the tests said otherwise. My youngest teen ended up a full month poorly, painful eyes which seems random and every bone and muscle hurting as well as the blocked sinuses and constant sneezing/earache, sore throat, barking cough which is still lingering after 2 lots of antibiotics, lost weight he couldnt afford to lose. It physically felt more flu than cold, but I've a compromised immune system so everything seems to feel worse. It was a full month for my son in the end.

On a spc plus I withdrew money for a takeaway last week for a late monthly treat but the shop was shut due to illness so I popped the notes in the tin figured we can skip this month now with it nearly over x
