Loose change - mix of silver n copper thrown into pot today.
Slowly getting used to using cash instead of cards again. It really does make me think more about what I'm buying, its so easy to do invisible shops with a card - you just dont pay attention the same way as you when handing over £10 notes....

MrMrsR said:Hi,
Very late to the party but can I join please? I've sealed a pot and emptied my purse into it. £29 so far
I'll keep this separate to online savings so cash only I'm hoping to get organised indoors and sell outgrown clothes, unused items etc. Maybe a bootsale once the weather changes. Target of £500 by October
Thankyou xA very warm welcome to you, MrMrsR (033)Please pop your SPC No on your signature as it's a great help. To do so please go to your profile Photo, top right, click, then go to Signature Settings, lower and on the left, be sure to SAVE before fleeing!it's lovely to have you with us. Have great fun saving !!. You'll find your No above in your welcome and on the 2nd Post of Page 1, and please read through the 1st post as it'll let you know exactly how to save with the challenge. We always empty our pots and declare what's in them in October, please make a note of this year's date: 26th October 2022.
Enjoy saving! Your Target of £500 is by your name on the Membership post, the 2nd post of the 1st page. You've made a great start to 2023, MrMrsR, much to be proud of.******************************************************PLEASE TAKE NOTE of this ENTIRE POST, especially next OCTOBER's CLOSING DATE!!******************************************************Hello SPCers!! Here's hoping you've all had a really good week, and that the weekend will be a wonderful one!!For any one poorly or low in any way, do take very great care and get well soon! From us all, best wishesYou're most welcome, MrsCautious. I noticed you'd already put your No on your signature and taken not of the Declaration Date, I've asked everyone to declare on time from this year on due to many folk leaving it until up 4 weeks later which keeps me just hanging around to put the Grand Total on.Well done with your savings, your cheaper petrol too! It's always good to pot money we've been able to save as a result of buying cheaper! You're doing well MrsC.Ah! Thanks for letting me know, mummytummmy. Just the name's enough to make them sound sweet, sickly and yuk! 😝 There are doughnuts and doughnuts and they don't sound like the scrumptious type to me. 😋 Not that I would buy any of course... I'd pot the cash for sure.******************************************************PLEASE TAKE NOTE of OCTOBER's CLOSING DATE!!******************************************************Hello SPCers!! A super way to add more money in your pot. We've struggled with which kind of bread to buy lately. Morr!sons used to have a lovely one, but then changed it, same with As!a so in trying to reduce sugar I've been buying Rice Crackers and love them with a little butter and some honey. 😋******************************************************PLEASE TAKE NOTE of OCTOBER's CLOSING DATE!!******************************************************Hello there skilly, a little later than the morning but with the same meaning. Happy New Year everyone
sorry I've been missing since before Christmas! We enjoyed a lovely Christmas with all the family staying from 23 - 26th. Unfortunately, I came down with a tummy bug on Boxing Day night and it totally wiped me out. My MIL also got it
Then, just as I was recovering from that, I came out in a horrible cold. It's only this week that I'm starting to feel more like myself. I have lots of posts to catch up on!!! Wishing everyone a healthy and peaceful year and sending love to anyone in need
Another fiver in the pot this weekSPC 16 - #09 Totals: 2014 - £264.51 2015 - £207.50 2016 - £396.79 2017 - £369.49 2018 - £484.24 2019 - £309.90 2020 -£282.06 2021- £1839.89 2022 -£1627.836 -
Finally started saving again and have managed to almost get to what I would normally have by this time saving my £1 a day. Some of you will have read what happened and how I was so discouraged, I've put my pot and more importantly the key in a place no one will find it (not a safe place or I'll never find it either!!!!)
