While we're talking Christmas, let's make the deadline for the Secret Santa 14 November as well to keep it simple. So far I have:IonafanNarcolepsyValliNattyPigpenASBIf anyone who hasn't been involved before would like to join in just let me know on the Thread, and you can always DM me if you're feeling shy. The guidelines are we generally try not to spend more than a fiver, we try to keep it under 100g and an inch thick to qualify for large letter postage but it's entirely up to you if you want to make either of those things flexible and need to use parcel postage. (I have a little listy of things if you're short of ideas but would like to join in.) Please gift wrap the gift before posting it with a tag or note that it's from a Flylady. When you receive your gift please let me know.Better is good enough.8

Evening all,
Please take the following with tongue in cheek 😉 - today I have thoroughly cleaned and decluttered the house from top to bottom, cleared the ironing pile, and sparkled every surface….actually I have done none of it, but I wanted to say hello and not break the forum rules 🤣…
It’s been a busy week at work (yawn, yawn, I’m a broken record), but I have been chipping away at my finance toad. He is croaking less, and it feels good to be (trying to) take control. There are many more in his harem (??spelling) , so I am no way seeing the light at the end of the tunnel (sorry for the mixed analogies) but better is good.DH is out, and ditto tomorrow for him. I need to write some lists so that I use the time usefully. This evening, however, is all about owning the remote.
Iona, I hope you enjoyed your day. Take it easy, nag, nag x
Valli, glad you aren’t feeling so carp x10 -

(all toads are frogs, but not all frogs are toads) There's your useless piece of knowledge for today.
Yesterday the bf came home with some staple thingies I needed to hammer some vines back onto Mr Noodles 'branch' in his enclosure. I also added some trellis to the Noodles 'Adventure centre'. Need to add a rock or something to level 2 and maybe like a hammock and hide somewhere. It won't let me resize the image, sorry!!
Usual animal chores, and then I caught up with the last 4 episodes of 'House of Dragon' as my friday task.Today my plans are:LaundryFeed Gary the snailRehouse some tarantulas and the assassin bugsWater test the axo tankDig out the bolus that's going fuzzy in the goliath bird eaters enclosure.Spend some quality online time with my bestie.Sounds like the first load has finished...off I go.Debt Free as of 17/01/2009 Turtle Power!!

Also...does anyone know how I stop my post being spread out so much. I don't like the large gaps between lines, I like them to be right on top of each other.
I know how to change the spacing on Word, but I can't find the option on here

Morning all,
Actual real flying has happened - the ironing pile is no more. Wm is on again, which will no doubt add back to the ironing pile, which has become the gift that keeps on giving.
Coffee machine has been descaled - by the tea drinker, moi! It threw a fit the first time, but seems to have played the game the second time, fingers crossed. Not sure what other plans for today. DH is out until mid afternoon. I still have bulbs to plant in the garden, I’m not feeling the allotment love today. I also have more money-frog armies to munch upon / paperwork to clear. That sounds like enough for today. Oh and the wretched cardigan has been finished, so I need to sew the buttons on.
Hope you are all ok, it is very quiet this morning xx8 -
Morning all.
We had a lovely day out yesterday, but I did a lot of walking (all on level ground) and am very tired today! Fortunately I did not have to drive at all, as we invited DS1 and DGD1+2 to travel with us, and DS1 said he'd be happy to take over. My pleasure! We were extremely lucky with the weather and even sat outside for lunch: 12 portions of fish'n'chips disappeared in no time. Rosie was very happy to declutter DGS3's last piece of fish. She too was tired last night and slept all evening, whereas normally she has a mad half hour with her toys.
This morning I have made a cuppa, eaten breakfast, done some financial transactions, sent some emails and decluttered ten more books. That's almost it for today - I am just going to do WMx1, then I shall concentrate on self-care, cook an easy lunch, and will check the inside of my eyelids before taking Rosie for her walk.
Don't forget to turn your clocks back tonight xxx8 -

I also pulled everything out the three Zoo Room cupboards and threw away pretty much half of it all. Cupboards have now been rearranged into : Food & suppliments / Cleaning & water / Empty enclosures, substrate & Decor.Scorplings fed and watered. Big noodle handled. Mantises watered.I will do the rehousings tomorrow, I'll also need to do a water change on the axo tank. Parameters are on the good side, but axos can be very dirty so I'll do a small water change just to keep on top of it.Tomorrows To-Dos:RehousingsWater changeBathe the tortoiseLast load of laundry, dry and put awayDebt Free as of 17/01/2009 Turtle Power!!
