Evening
bathroom cleaned
hairdressers visited
off to wedding soon (evening do)
I cancelled my hotel as discovered it wasn’t very close to the venue and if I have to drive 20mins I might as well drive home.
I’m a little nervous as I may need to speak to people.

Oh Dancemum I feel your pain I have a work do coming up that I am less than enthusiastic about for similar reasons. And I have somehow agreed to be a guest speaker at a charity lunch which is just ridiculous because I will be terrified. More on that nearer the time.
I have felt bleugh today, my anxiety is through the roof and I have felt headachy and queasy. I dragged myself through a day at the paid stuff and set off to cycle home just as the drizzle started. Everyone keeps telling me there are lots of flu/cold/sickness bugs going about so I am hoping I am not coming down with something.
Two shepherds pies made for tea, one meat and one veggie so plenty for the freezer. Kitchen is put to bed and DW on but that's about it for flying. Early night for me.9 -
Thank you for the lists - good decision, Valli.I’m in the vaguely smug camp, as the oven cramming session yesterday means that I have meals / leftovers to take us until Thursday. Added bonus of a sc rice pudding also in the fridge - great minds obviously thought alike yesterday, Ionafan 😉.
Kitchen (very) basics done this evening, towels washed this morning and DH seems to have managed to get them dried outside between the heavy showers. I’m going to finish sewing up my knitting this evening and contemplate the self care options for the week.Taking inspiration from Iona (again), I am aiming to tick 3 financial-type frogs off my list on the next 8 weeks. Number one starts tomorrow, when I have a call with the BS. Let’s see how far that gets me before I set myself any more challenges.7 -

Morning all,
Just back with DH from both being flu jabbed. We had to go 25 minutes to the small town in the next but one county, and it was a beautiful drive over the gallops. The trees are looking stunning.
Bed was stripped before we left and the wm is twirling. I have just sorted out the baking cupboard on a whim. Shopping list updated. Now I need to s&s the bathroom and downstairs toilet. DH has gone into work so I have no excuse about having to stay quiet for his calls…
I am slowly succeeding in winding myself up for the call this pm with the BS. I will be glad when it is done, but I can feel already that a disagreement might be on the cards.
Have a good day x9 -
