YesI wasn't stating a personal preference. My great-grandfather was a distiller, the method I described is how it's meant to be taken.

I've done the wool clothing in the freezer, belt and braces after a moth infestation.
My pillow lived in the freezer this summer heatwave, it gave some relief for the first couple of hours going to bed. I also tried putting a t shirt in there to cool me down, but found it unpleasant.
