Storing paper in the freezer

    I would imagine that it is to guard against any risk of passing varroa infection along when the hive parts are re-used.  Some folks do the same with their luggage after a foreign trip to avoid bringing bed bugs home.

    I get the impression that nobody is taking this seriously!

    I do know that keeping photographic paper in a freezer isn't that weird though because my ex was a professional photographer and did it all the time, in our domestic freezer. Do you still have to do it though? Or have times moved on now?

    I would have thought that things would have moved out of the ice age.  (Sorry).
