Storing paper in the freezer

Have a sizeable stock of (photographic) paper and film that I keep in the freezer. Chances are, household insurance won't pay out if the freezer packs in, but even if the paper does thaw out, it shouldn't suffer any damage. Guys at work reckon I'm weird for keeping the paper where I do even after explaining to them that it keeps better at low temperatures - Also keeps the news fresh....
Anyone else keeping "odd" stuff in their freezer ?
Any language construct that forces such insanity in this case should be abandoned without regrets. –

Your paper must be 100% sealed airtight, FB?
The most unusual thing in our fridge is brussel sprouts - love 'em.
I remember the days of when factory-supplied car radios first came with security codes, and when you bought a banger with an 'enter code' message, one urban myth was to put the radio in the freezer, and the chip would lose it's code and could be reset.
Tried it. Didn't work.1 -

Not the freezer but in my days of expensive perfume I used to keep my boxed Chanel in the fridge.

YesI have a corner for "girl stuff". A pair of teaspoons (for when your eyes aren't accurately reflecting the amount of sleep you've had!), a couple of stem gingers (easier to grate when frozen), and some aftersun (for when I'm *ahem* feeling warmer than the weather dictates I should). Sometimes also insoles (for the same reason!)
Also - I keep batteries in the fridge.Shout out to people who don't know what the opposite of in is.2 -
A bottle of vodka. And an icepack (a little better than a pack of frozen peas, especially given the fact I don't have frozen peas).1

I remember when I was a kid, my parents had got a "good deal" from a farmer friend on a whole pig. They'd cut it up into manageable chunks and kept it in the big chest freezer we had. I can remember being freaked out when I went in there to get some fish fingers or whatever and saw a pig's head staring up at me!
