Hi maybe look in the charity shops for jeans, you will be able to try on different sizes and makes all in one place. Then if you find something you like, you know where to go for new. Good luck V x
Tried all the local charity shops, nothing at all. I'm slowly losing the will now....lol

If its any comfort you are not the only one. my dd has always had trouble finding trousers of any sort for my youngest dgd. She now has to find her own as she is 21. She is a very similar size and height to you. Have you tried long tall sally? I dont know what their fit is like as I am not quite tall enough for their clothes.

Matalan could be worth a look for jeans - I know they definitely do loner leg lengths as I frequently discover that’s all I can find when I’m looking for my short@rse length ones! Thry also do a nice range of different shapes and styles.

Thanks for the replies. I had actually thought of trying Matalan @EssexHebridean, just that our nearest store is not really very local and I hate going into the city or the nearest retail park that has one, and shopping online seems to be a real "no go" as far as jeans are concerned as I'd have to order about 50 pairs to find one that fits....lol.

So just checking in, so you don't all think I've gone AWOL again. TBH, not much happening on the money front, still plodding on towards the summer and my "Extra" pension....can't wait.  Surveys seem to be very slow this month, and only sold 1 item on FB. I'm up to £70, but my target says I should be on £90 by now, so hoping it improves. Not sure if all the BHs have had something to do with it, or if its just me.

My trying to cut down on sugar has been a bit of a rollercoaster and I really need to improve there.  I also have been having so many nights of not sleeping well over the last few weeks.....and by not well, I mean some nights only getting about 2 - 3 hours. I have been feeling really tired and lethargic because of it and trying to sort myself out.  No idea if it could be linked to the "too much sugar" thing.  Trouble is my diet is brilliant with other things....loads of veggies, fruit, lean meat, fish, fibre, etc etc. Then I go and have too much chocolate or biscuits.  So I'm really working on that now.  I wonder if I may be deficient in something like Vit B, or magnesium or something, or if its anaemia or diabetes starting, as all those things can affect sleep.  I did try and get a GP appointment, but they have no "no urgent" appointments available up to the end of June and their next "block" of bookable appointments is not out yet. I could get an appointment today if I said its urgent, but it isn't really, I just want to talk to someone and ask for blood tests to rule things out.  Its ridiculous isn't it, as if GPs won't see people with non urgent problems, then they soon become urgent!
In the mean time I am trying all the things like not going on phone or laptop after about 7pm, listening to more meditation stuff when I go to bed etc. Also trying to up my exercise even more.  The other thing that could be keeping me awake is pain, as I suffer a lot with bad back and arthritis. Might have to try a physio when I have more "allocated funds".

Anyway, enough of my moaning.  Yesterday I was going to sit down and have a really good detox of savings accounts etc and plan what to do when I get my increased income. But I was too tired to think about it yesterday, so that's another job for next week hopefully.
Not long now till our little break away in caravan....can't wait. Have already started a bag full of food stuff to take and made a list of bits to fill the cool box.

So off for a walk now while the sun is shining, rain forecast later. If I am in the right frame of mind, I may start on something MSE, & try and work out a DF target date....,if not I'll do it next week.   Might get some gardening done this weekend as well hopefully.

Thanks for reading as always. x
