Quick update, not too much to report really. Saturday was spent visiting in-laws as it was DFIL's birthday. As usual it was a bit of a trial as he was in is normal negative, moaning mode. He complained about everything it is possible to complain about and we were both exhausted when we got home. Sunday was a supposed to be a day of rest, but ended up doing a few jobs in both house and garden.

Yesterday was L!d! as I had vouchers to spend. Pleased to say I used the £5 off £60 voucher, and some 15% off ones, stocked up on their hand cream while it was on offer, as I really like that. Also they had some F**ry fabric softener and also laundry liquid, on a brilliant offer, and that is the one I use and normally have to go to Mr S for it, as L!d! rarely stock brand names. So very pleased there and won't need to go shopping next week apart from any fresh veg we need. After that I had dance class and then met a friend for coffee….their treat, and we swapped some books.

Today I have walked down the local CS with a box of donations, and the decluttering is continuing, I am hoping to get some more done this afternoon. I have also made up some natural weed killer for the weeds on front patio, and got a load of washing drying in the sunshine. Can't believe how nice its been here so far today.

My selling on V*nt*d seems to have slowed down. Made another £5 yesterday, but only got 2 things left on there now, as I deleted a few and took to CS as they had been on there so long and even reduced right down they didn't sell Think I will probably come across some more good stuff to put on later though.

P/fc still doing ok this month.

Got an email from GW and they say they have refunded the money that they took after I had cancelled, so that's on its way. Got a few bulbs to put in garden, but think I won't have time today now, so that is a job for tomorrow morning when I get back from the gym.

So off to do some more jobs now. Tonight's dinner is from freezer, some minced pork and veg that I did last week. I'll add a bit of chilli to it maybe to spice it up a bit, so DH doesn't think he's eating the same meal as last week…LOL

your DFIL sounds a bit like my dad - he is definitely a glass half empty person. Actually I think my dad is a glass almost completely empty person. I find it exhausting too.

Yes DFIL is definitely an empty glass person. He complains constantly about everything....the weather, Govt, immigration, energy prices, bin men, neighbours, supermarkets, delivery couriers, Drs. Its just never ending
