Nope we've never seen any issues with that nor taken any notice!  Email is good enough for the court and good enough for Gladstones in the interests of the Overriding Objective.
    Ok I’ll ignore that.
I sent it to the same email address where  I emailed my defence.
Thank you so much for all the help and guidance, now hoping for a positive outcome in court.

I have received claimants WS and interestingly the solicitor has also informed me that they’ve submitted WS and also informed the court that they will not be attending final hearing. Not sure what to make of that.
I can post the claimants WS here if it’s ok do so?
     Thanks
Hi, looks like Gladstone’s have changed their mind and have informed me via email that they will be attending hearing. The hearing is week after next. Any views or advice on this please 🙏
    Thanks

Read and know your defence, witness statement and evidence inside out, make yourself a crib sheet so that, if you are given a chance by the judge to talk, you can make sure you get across ALL your points.  Make sure your crib sheet contains pointers from your WS to the evidence page and paragraph. Be there early in case the cases in front of you move up the queue and also to allow time for security checks etc.  Do not allow yourself to be sidetracked into a room so that a well-dressed lawyerly type can "have a few words".  Do not accept any bits of paper.  Have a spare copy of your witness statement in case the claimant tries the "we did not receive the defendant's WS" trick!  Be polite and do not talk over the judge, address the judge as "Judge" even if a lady judge and finally - good luck.  Don't forget, when you win, to ask for your costs.
    Also see above.

    Oh dear...

You sent  WHAT to the  same email address where you emailed your defence?  Surely not your WS?  It doesn't go to the claim gateway admin centre at Northampton. That's isn't a court and is not your hearing court.

Are you saying you haven't yet emailed your WS bundle to your hearing court despite the Hearing Order requiring it?

The NEWBIES thread makes it clear what to do at WS and hearing stage.  Northampton hasn't been involved since 2022 (18 months ago) and it merely acted as an admin 'door' to allocate the case out ages ago to your chosen court.

EMAIL IT IMMEDIATELY TO THE RIGHT PLACE.

Did you email them a copy?  Maybe they spotted from the other email address in the header, that you hadn't filed your WS bundle with the hearing court & decided to take advantage.

Rescue this right now.  This afternoon!

No, I emailed WS to the hearing court, not Northampton. I also sent a hard copy recorded delivery to the hearing court, have proof postage and recipients signature.
I emailed claimants copy to the same email address where I served my Defence.

You don't serve defence on claimant; what did you mean? What actual e-mail address did you use for claimant?
