Such a relief that lovely Natty is carrying on the Flylady tradition of Christmas cards. Thank you.Someone has messaged me and asked if I'd be up for co-orindating the Secret Santa instead but I really don't want to upset anyone, so is there anyone out there who'd like to do it? I can remember a couple of people who've done it in the past (Cycling Yorkie is still much missed) but I'm not sure who did it last year so if it was you, and you'd like to do it this year please let me know so I can bow out gracefully. If no-one else has the time I've got plenty, sitting here, nursing my ankle. Plenty, plenty time. It seems so unfair when so many of you are doing so much and I'm doing zip.Diaries organised with Belovéd for the next couple of days. It's a right faff with the walking frame, the walking boot and the wheelchair organising a simple trip to the cinema and a funeral. I honestly didn't know a simple broken ankle could be so disruptive.Better is good enough.10

HB, It was Iona did the SS last year.. if that helps at all. I too miss CY and regularly stalk her children and grandbaby on FB. They look to be doing well.Nail appointments sorted until January.B00ts orders received.. soooooo many extra points and freebies.. and new gloves.. I've not had new gloves for a couple of years and mine are dead so this is luxury! I like the fleece lined leather ones because they are thin yet warm, the thicker ones hurt my joints. I have some big mittens I wear over the gloves if it is very cold.
I need to do a heat holder sock order for everyone too. Boog loves them as does DD1 and Pixie.
nothing else done.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)8 -

Hi ladies
Big love and hugs to all - in fact lets have a group one
I am here and muddling on as ever. Despite being the world's slowest driver I have got a speeding ticket and have to do that darned course, and pay for the privilege. The children are away over half term which makes my life easier and my food bill lighter!
Animals are all fine. We have another dog now, who we adore, and the sheep to look forward to very soon. It dawned on me last night I need a sheep trailer... and a tow bar....
Flying has been limited to picking up the dog's accidents bless him and keeping on top of the laundry. Everyone fed no-one dead is perfect for us.
I am looking forward to both the card and secret santa - and appreciate the effort and thought that goes into making each happen.
Something to make you all smile - speaking of hormones, my 10 year old DD, who was sooo lovely, placid and biddable until about six months ago, is on a device ban tonight for doing the middle finger to her brother when she thought I wasn't looking this morning. I am sure I wasn't even aware of what it meant until I was an adult!
Big love ladies, keep swimming, we have each other.xxx11 -

Re the plant labels, I use pencil. It lasts for ages, and is easy to rub out when the label needs to move on! But then some of my plant labels are broken up pieces of wood venetian blinds from our old house, at least 25 years old. Obviously I have no shame or standards…
Work done and dusted - possibly the nearest that I will get to flying today! There seems to be the general belief that I can sort all queries and have time on my hands to pull all sorts together. Think agin, I have logged off for the day. Of course, this will eat away at me at 3am, so I will stock up the WAC tin now whilst I remember. I have ginger for the tin tonight if anyone is interested.BS called back to confirm next week’s appointment. Toad is hopefully on its way to being munched. It has a whole tribe of toads (I am sure that there is a correct word for that) waiting in the wings, so I won’t be able to twiddle my thumbs.
Jab booked at Dr’s surgery for a month’s time.
Hmmm, HHI or plant some bulbs 🤔.
Hugs to all xx10 -
Apparently it is a Knot of Toads. In which case I have a whole tangle to devour.10

I have decluttered this object which was damaged by the lovely Scarlett Treacle's twin 😀) when she jumped on it and it fell off the worktop.. To say I was not happy when she did it was an understatement. Then Dave treated me to this beauty to cheer me up....bless him.
