Never drive a brand new car, straight from the showroom. You could kill someone. Even a small child!

How and why do people stumble on posts on page 65 of a forum and post a pointless reply?

    but does it matter

Do you ever bring up a conversation you have had with mates a few years down the line

I think you'll find in this case it was a bit of fun because of how often the post had been resurrected before to calls of "it's x years old!" ;)

Personally I look forward to seeing it again in another year or so!

I cant believe it! Its nearly winter again. You really dont want bald tyres this time of year, I recommend winter tyres. I hope the OP takes notice.

Why drag up a 7 year old thread?

If he hadn't checked the tyres since then, I'd suggest either he or the car is dead by now.

I have seen and know off many individuals, full grown adults who are working professionals, who have bald tyres. I don't know why they would even take the risk, but its usually the 'stingy' ones who have the bald tyres.

One of my friends, a dentist, has a 1995 Toyota Corolla, completely worn down. He drives it every week, 100 miles or so on motorways and A-roads. Two of his tyres were bald, he got one of them replaced in his last MOT, but literally 3 months later the other tyre is illegally bald. It's just stupid and dangerous to risk such things. Part of me wants him to learn a tough lesson so he wouldn't endanger himself and others on the road.

I think you're missing the fact that owne_money's consistently bringing up this thread every few months. Fifth time now? It's like an inside joke that only he's in on.
