Chase and zopa interest has always been credited in the early hours. Its a fully automated process.0

Just for information though. I opened and funded an eSaver with Santander on the 2nd May with the first monthly interest credited on the 4th June and then every 4th of the month thereafter.0 -

Same no interest yet, opened on 11th Oct. Hoping it's there tomorrow0

My other accounts interest (with different companies) pay either late on the due date about 9-10pm, or first working day after due date. So anytime between tonight and Monday I'm assuming!0

Did you try to transfer direct from the savings account or did you transfer the funds to your current account first?TomDolan said:tried to withdraw 7k, guess what, dreaded message : your access is blocked please phone support...Already had this last week and went into a branch with ID, all was good until today..can't be bothered with this now, will close the account...0 -
If you are withdrawing to an existing payee they have zero reason to be blocking withdrawals.

Yes, that's my plan when trying to withdraw too - hopefully just dealing with the one payee (which I've already sent a small payment to) will minimise the risk of triggering Santander's legendarily over-sensitive anti-fraud measures.jaypers said:

i tried to withdraw to an existing payee (which happens to be my bank account) and is the one which i have made a payment earlier this week only to be blocked and had to visit the branch to unblock it, it was the branch manager who i saw and she said the system is somehow flagging these up for some reason, she couldn't explain why.my guess is that they have a floor limit, will have to ring them first0
