Why on earth do they want the cardboard packaging back? Surely its far cheaper to replace it than have it posted back to them? Any cardboard packaging I receive goes straight into recycling, and I assume most people do the same. I thought the bag was in case we wanted to return the book to them, rather than keeping it or donating it to charity?

LADY_A said:Had my welcome letter informing me of how to register but the icode keeps coming up as invalid.
Anyone else had this problem ?
I had this problem and found out it was because I was not using a capital letter for my first name (I typed my whole name in lowercase) where it asks for your full name.

Oh I see. I wonder why they wanted that back! All mine have arrived in jiffy bags but I will keep an eye open for any arriving in cardboard now!bdark2755 said:
It was the cardboard packaging they wanted back, it said I could keep the book or charity shop it.Gail333 said:
I have received three books so far but none of them have included a request to post them back, unless I've just missed it!bdark2755 said:Received my first book today, nothing exciting! It was in a cardboard wallet type thing. However it wasn’t until after I’d removed the stamps and put the cardboard packaging into recycling that I noticed on the back of the letter it says to post it back to them. Whoops, I’m sure they don’t want it back now 😂
They say to write FREEPOST SPECTOS on it and post it back. Does anyone do this?
I’ll be doing the latter
All those I received went to charity shops too. I'm still keeping my fingers crossed for a good horror book 🤣0 -
Can someone please advise me? I'm starting the correct delivery survey tomorrow but I'm not clear on whether I'm supposed to include items from Spectos. I have completed this survey once before and I did include them but I don't know for sure if I'm supposed to.0

You do not include any survey mail whether from Spectos, Kantar or other panellists. It is all detailed in the app as you enter the results. They tell you what to do. It is a very useful reminder.Gail333 said:Can someone please advise me? I'm starting the correct delivery survey tomorrow but I'm not clear on whether I'm supposed to include items from Spectos. Interesting. I have a box but I threw away the instructions. The box has clearly been taped a few times. However, to send it back I would need to tape it all up again to keep it closed and take it to the post office. Surely if I hand it in marked "freepost spectos" it will be a give away that the posting sack I have with me is part of a survey??Gail333 said:

They are suggesting that if you want to return the book then you use the original packaging to do so. They do not want the packaging on its own.Learn from yesterday, live for today, hope for tomorrow. The important thing is not to stop questioning. Albert Einstein5 -
That is what I thought - this was spelt out in one of the regular emails they send us.HonestJohn said:
