Same here - I checked as I received an item today with a transponder. Just shoved it in the post anyway, maybe they have realised that the feature isn't working properly and removed it for now?kerri_gt said:My Transponders to Return count has now disappeared - despite no news ones being received by Spectos and me literally just putting one in the postbox

i expect you're right - not going to lose any sleep over it whilst they still in the test phase. If a question isn't there, I can't reply to it.Saetana said:

I’ve received all of my packages with no transponder inside for about a week but today I received one with a transponder.“Hardware: The parts of a computer system that can be thrown out of the nearest window!”1

I must have hit lucky! All my test letters since January have contained transponders. They have also tallied with the request return feature on the App.1

In Feb I was sent a test letter with the transponder. I entered the details and as requested returned the transponder. I then received some stamps. I now received another test letter a few days ago and again checked it in and returned the transponder.
Should I expect another lot of stamps this month even though I am not on the main survey at the moment. Also I think I got some points for the test items.0 -
Hello! I have been doing the mail survey with Kantar for years and am just awaiting my welcome letter from Spectos. Can anyone tell me if it is possible to opt out of posting parcels with Spectos? I live in a very small village where the Post Office is part of the community shop, and everyone knows everyone! When Kantar brought in the mailbags for parcels it would have been impossible for me to take them to the village Post Office without being quizzed about what on earth these were and why I was using them. (The next nearest PO is seven miles away so not exactly convenient.) I explained this to Kantar and was able to opt out of posting parcels but have a nasty feeling that Spectos won’t be so accommodating and sadly it will be “bye-bye mail survey” after all these years!Just wondered if anyone might be able to throw any light on what I can expect. Thanks!0

If you received stamps in February & have been receiving test letters etc. I would say you’re highly likely to receive another set of stamps for March.CRISPIANNE3 said:In Feb I was sent a test letter with the transponder. Had my welcome letter informing me of how to register but the icode keeps coming up as invalid.
Anyone else had this problem ?0 -
I'm not entirely sure, but wouldn't it be easier to post with Spectos given their parcels / jiffy bags actually have more than air in them?JanefromDorset said:Hello! It was the big silver mailbags with manifests etc for parcels that would cause the problem. I’m pretty sure the people in our village post office would never have seen them and would want to know why on earth I was using them - and I can’t think of a suitable response! I’m just presuming Spectos will continue to use the mailbag system - if it was just handing separate parcels over the counter as in the old days, that would be fine (especially as it seems they are more realistic weights now). I will just have to wait and see how things turn out instead of being so impatient! But thanks for your reply.kerri_gt said:
