  • Does anyone ever post a test item the day before, after the last collection time?

For a Monday posting, posting on Sunday would be more convenient for me. Spectos say it's okay to post the day before if you can't post on the scheduled day (as long as you record the correct time and date) but I COULD post on the scheduled day, it's just not as convenient. Any thoughts please?

I always do this. My post box is the one I always use, so that they become aware how badly their collections are from this particular box. It's last posting time is 9am. I won't be reaching the box by 9am on a Monday morning so I always post on a Saturday or Sunday. I sometimes get asked to confirm that I did record the time and date accurately as it isn't logged in the system until Monday or Tuesday (told you collections were bad!).

I always post late on Friday for a Saturday morning collection (when it is 9am or 11am). Spectos emphasise that the item has to be posted before the last collection so I have fulfilled that condition.

I sent Spectos a message yesterday asking about the stamps. They replied this morning saying that they are all prepared ready to send out next week.

Just received my stamps for March today. Also received an email yesterday asking me to do an Unaddressed mail survey, and another today for a Correctly delivered. Things seem to be picking up with Spectos now.

Yep, I do this too. Kantar seems to be more concerned about the items being sent on a particular day (and less fussed about whether it was before or after the last collection time) whereas Spectos seem to be more concerned about the items being posted before the last collection time for that day (and less about the actual day itself).

For some reason, all of my items always have to be posted on a Monday (no idea why the other days of the week aren’t important) so if I’m going past a post box that has a later collection, I’ll post on Monday morning but if not, I’ll post on Sunday night.

I am in a similar postion. Can do 9am or 5pm weekdays. Monday is when I post most of mine too.

I've just received my first bag to drop off at a Post Office and notice that the Docket no and Poster fields on the PPI label have not been filled in (as Kantar wanted)

Instead, Spectos seem to have stamped their postal address on the label instead.

    Has anyone else had this?
My first one was blank.  I emailed them and was asked to fill it in by hand.   So they have taken action but don't know if that will match up.
I need to think of something new here...

Got my stamps today. Idly wondering if we will get Charles III booklets next time (they are issued 4th April) or will we have to wait until stocks run out.  I've got both survey invites in - and starting straight after I finish the Kantar ones.

I also got an incoming item with errors. Large C4 envelope with usual paper but no RFID inside. The form suggested it should be 1st LL but the envelope had both 1st Large and a standard 2nd on it. So I logged the postage as other and put the notes in at the end.  I have seen that stamp combination before when a bundle arrived. Guess the packer picked up the wrong envelope.

Nearly all of my bundles have gone on a Monday, a couple on Tuesday and next week I have a Jiffy to go on Saturday

The C5 I received today had no RFID in it either, despite it being a first class stamp. Maybe they have run out of RFIDs for this weeks’s postings. The 2nd class items I posted this week had no RFIDs in them either but originally thought that might have been a Kantar hangover policy.

I've had 2 recently without RFIDs. Was going to report it but decided not to.
