Yesterday I accepted an unaddressed mail survey beginning w/c 27 March, then I remembered I'm away for 4 days (24 to 28 April). Will this be a problem?1

I've done similar. When you are logging each day's post there is a section at the end of each week for post that has arrived but you don't know on exactly what day. Just use that for the time you are away.HomingPigeon said:Yesterday I accepted an unaddressed mail survey beginning w/c 27 March, then I remembered I'm away for 4 days (24 to 28 April). That's for the correctly delivered survey not the unaddressed mail onesilvercar said:

Thanks both, my post comes at lunchtime so I can wait in on the 24th, then be back by lunchtime on the 28th, so I'll only miss 3 days. I wonder if that would be okay.

I can’t imagine it will be an issue but it sounds like you will be around for the 3 weeks when the unaddressed mail is meant to arrive so it will only be the 2 week period afterward which will be affected, when you have to record late delivery of unaddressed mail (rather than all unaddressed mail).HomingPigeon said:Thanks both, my post comes at lunchtime so I can wait in on the 24th, then be back by lunchtime on the 28th, so I'll only miss 3 days. Thanks for reply. Yes that's right, it's only the 5th week when I'll be missing.0

I've received two books so far, the first of which I posted the title and I asked the same question but a member pointed out to me that Spectos will probably be monitoring this thread and that by posting a book title on here, you could reveal your identity.HomingPigeon said:///I've just received another one to go out (no free books for me...) It's the next size up of Jiffy and feels heavier, So perhaps they are just slapping 5x 1st on all Jiffys to cover a range of size and weight.///
I agree, that's what it looks like. No free book for me yet, either. For those who've received a book, what's the title of it?
All I can say is that one was a fiction and one was a biography. Both of these will be heading for a charity shop. I'm hoping for a good horror book 🤣

Thanks for reply, Gail. I think if they look in here (and they probably do) I've revealed my identity more than once......quoting emails and times of emails to and from them.
Perhaps I've misunderstood - I thought keeping your identity a secret meant keeping it a secret from Post Office/Royal Mail staff.
I also can't imagine they'd take much notice of the name of a book they've used in a test item, I would think they've got far too much on for it to be relevant. Interesting thought, though.0 -
The extra question about action - such as going to read later/keep for reference or made a donation - has been asked by Kantar for a while now.NBLondon said:
Just went into email and agreed to do this. I seem to remember that Kantar wanted numbers of everything (possibly to tell RM how many others were around in that area for them to hunt extra business?) Spectos on the other hand have the extra questions about whether you are taking any action after seeing the leaflet - which is new.Money_Grabber13579 said:I see Spectos have the same bug that Kantar had. Received an invite to the unaddressed mail survey and once I’d filled out the form, thanked me for accepting the correctly delivered mail survey.
One thing I noticed about the form was that it was very specific about recording unaddressed mail delivered by Royal Mail. Perhaps I’m misremembering but with Kantar, wasn’t it recording unaddressed mail delivered by anyone?
I've just been accepted onto it starting next week and I'm definitely still active - I've got a bundle for 1st April and the app shows one for 3rd April too.Graceglow said:The same thing has just happened to me! Another glitch in the system. Do you think that means we are now on a resting period? Spectos stated that you wouldn’t be invited to participate in surveys whilst you’re on an active cycle.1 -
Has it? Mind you - I haven't done UA with Kantar for the last couple of years until now in the final rush - and I haven't actually had any of the pictured items (which is useful information if it means that my local depot has problems).General_Grant said:The extra question about action - such as going to read later/keep for reference or made a donation - has been asked by Kantar for a while now.I need to think of something new here...0
