I find the pick-up time at our closest box to be ridiculous! 7am - I'm barely ready for the day at that hour! So I end up posting at the train station (same postal area) on the way in - the pick-up time there is 9am. By the time I get home in the evening, it's far too dark to be wandering down the road to post the bundle the night before and the closest post box corner is very poorly lit. Wish there was an option for 'I keep my personal safety in mind when posting your bundles'.

I don't suppose they've even thought about it. I don't mind going out early but I was concerned at first about using my phone in a street where phone thieves operate until I found that I can use the app at home as the post box is just about near enough to register. So I do that, adjusting the time appropriately.

I can live with that… most of the last 5 years' Xmas stamps have been awful.

It was one of the reasons I left the panel. Not giving a bonus to all panellists is inexcuseable. If they don't have the cash for it they should limit them to longer serving members.

I've become less diligent. My time on the panel has never covered Xmas and it's unfair. At least they used to send diaries to everyone.

My postie now knows both of us by name and our post comes every day instead of once a week, so I'm going to count being on the panel as a good thing as the tracked mail means the service has improved!
