    The RFIDs do not record any data themselves. They trigger equipment installed at various points within Royal Mail's network as they go through it.

    You know it's a spectos item? I think someone said spectos sent them stamps when they complained to them.

    I presume so but will know for sure when RM deliver it..

    What’s new
    A notification is now sent on the scheduled delivery day to announce a receiving item.
    General improvements to notifications.
    Panellists can now close tickets themselves if they are no longer relevant.
    The indicator spot showing the current panel status has been redesigned.
    When changing the property type, the app will now prompt for a reason.
    Technical improvements have been made to the mobile verification process.

    Still haven't added a slider to the page listing Mobile Verified monthly prize winners. The latest draws are still not visible.

    What’s new
    A notification is now sent on the scheduled delivery day to announce a receiving item.

    Still haven't added a slider to the page listing Mobile Verified monthly prize winners. The latest draws are still not visible.
    There is now a newer update 1.15.1 for iPhone users. I updated to 1.15.0 yesterday and was prompted to download this new version this morning. 
    This version also running slow and I had to switch my phone on and off to be able to report posting a bundle.
    The QR reader is now working.

    Anyone like to comment on these 2 "improvements" ?

    Firstly, to me, the top one means BEFORE it arrives.
    I've had 2 test items since upgrading, yesterday's Fri 29/8 (a book parcel) NO "notification" AT ALL,
    the previous day's Thurs 28/8, nothing via the app !
    I did get an EMAIL that evening (28th) at 18:06 titled "Have your test letters arrived"

    Hello quoia,

    On its way to you. You should receive 1 test letter today. Please keep an eye out for it and log into your app and record the time and date received.

    Never had one of these before to my knowledge. Is this the "announcement"?

    On the latter of "What's new"

    Posted 1st bundle since the upgrade this morning.

    Just as I hit submit I realised that the app HAD NOT responded with the "Confirmed mobile verified by GPS " message (can't remember the exact wording) despite being within 20 feet of the post box having selected it as the top one from those offered by the app at the "location" input stage.

    Anyone else potentially had the same ?

    I have received 5 items since the app upgrade without any notifications. I also did not get the confirmed by GPS message when I posted a bundle.

    There is another potential upgrade issue I seem to be having that might be "mobile verification" related ......

    I've never had a problem with this previously !

    On the home screen select POSTING LOCATIONS (the "point" to the left of the panel status indicator spot) with GPS enabled
    You get a map centred on your location with a variable number of post offices or post boxes indicated which increase or decrease when zooming out or in.
    Clicking on these posting locations gives you its postcode identifier, location, distance and last collection time for today (the day you do it)

    I'm really struggling to CLICK to reveal this information

    The location symbol(s) are not 100% stable as they used to be before (the upgrade?) when used previously.
    They flicker a bit. Also at the bottom it says "SHOWING x LOCATION(S)"
    Mine can say 23 when there are only 15 visible, or 14 when I count only 9, even 4 when it is obviously just 2.
    IF I zoom in as tight a possible and can get just ONE post box highlighted the flickering seems to all but cease and then I CAN click successfully.

    Anyone like to try and report back please?
