I have just received the letter 4 months into my resting period. Perhaps they are testing us before inviting us backNBLondon said:
This was a business panellist (and one where I even recognised the sender details) so yes - it could have been one they were supposed to send in the summer and have only just found. I'll take the points anyway.millie said:I had one 3 months into my rest period I queried it with Spectos their answer was that it could have been posted late. It was a business item not a private panelist. Did not make sense to me but that was their answer. I am resting with 70 days to go but since the latest App update it says that I will receive 1 test letter soon,0 -
I had £50 worth of points. I had to get 2 x £25.13Kent said:I haven't redeemed any points yet. Can someone explain how it works please. Do points have to be redeemed 2500 at a time for single vouchers or if you have 7500 vouchers can you redeem them for a voucher worth 3x as much? Are they online codes or do the vouchers get posted?
They are on-line vouchers, which you can print off.
I didn't find redeeming them straight forward, but it was my first time.

I’m currently active and have had 2 test letters direct from Spectos, yesterday and today. They don’t show on your notifications either like other test letters, completely unexpected… strange!millie said:

You can print the gift voucher off or scan the barcode directly from your mobile phone. I do the latter and it has worked well.1

I always send RFID envelopes back the same day. Yet I also always have a notification asking me to send them back.So I’m not keen on this paragraph in their latest email!
” Important note - if these notifications are not actioned and we do not see a change in performance over a period of 3 weeks you will lose your space on the survey and be removed from participation.”.0 -
I always send mine back the same day too but my nearest post box only has one collection per day at 7.30 so it means a delay of a day before Spectos would receive them.fluffig said:I always send RFID envelopes back the same day. I hate being made to feel that I'm doing something wrong!1 -
Does anyone know if you can use the stamps in the Presentation Packs as normal postage on letters/parcels… as they don’t have barcodes?0
-
I believe the answer is yes as they are classed as commemorative stamps.
Lots of info on www.philatelink.co.uk1 -
The app is running very slowly - I've just installed the latest version. They have put a notice up to say they are aware and working on it and to keep a note of posting times etc.
I'm letting people know so that they don't waste time waiting for it to open!1 -

I checked this with Royal Mail Customer Services a few weeks ago.
Yes, you can use them, they remain valid indefinitely.
I was initially told (by RMCS) that it would be wise to 'swap them out' and the advisor said he'd send me a Swap Out form in the post. However a few days later I received a phone call from RMCS informing me that they won't swap them as they are okay to use.1
