Spectos/Royal Mail Monitoring and Posting Panel

Has anyone had PO staff being a bit off with them about taking the bags? There is a woman at our local one that seems to know what they are and gives me a hard time about it. The nearest parcel boxes are 3 miles away, and the next PO half a mile away. I don't want to spend too much of my time doing this, it's hard enough to fit around work. If people ask what do you say the packages are?

They shouldn’t ask. If they do, I would shrug and say work asked you to drop them off.

So I went to look for it and found it had updated automatically.   Including an Instant News message to tell me it would.

No actual changes to the app - but maybe that's because I'm resting.

I'm not seeing the New Features even though the app says I'm at 1.11.0.  Presumably as I'm resting and they will appear when I go live.  But....

... today I got an incoming item!   I'm resting and the app says 59 days to go.  So?

A) Is this item nearly 4 months late?  It doesn't look battered as if it had been dropped and left in a sorting office.

Are Spectos restarting me 2 months early but haven't told me this?  Great if it means I get the Christmas bonus stamps.  Seems unlikely.

C) There's been a !!!!!!-up and my details got used instead of a live panellists.  Seems most likely.

I've scanned and logged it and the points were added as normal.  So now to wait and see if I get a query.  If I get more, then I'll raise a ticket.

I had one 3 months into my rest period I queried it with Spectos their answer was that it could have been posted late. It was a business item not a private panelist. Did not make sense to me but that was their answer. I am resting with 70 days to go but since the latest App update it says that I will receive 1 test letter soon,

Yes, I just say I’ve got no idea what they are as I’m dropping them off for someone else. I don’t care if they believe me or not.

Then if they ask what they should be doing I can quite happily say “no idea,  it’s your post office, I expected you to know.”

This was a business panellist (and one where I even recognised the sender details) so yes - it could have been one they were supposed to send in the summer and have only just found.  I'll take the points anyway.

I got a letter last week out the blue  and I'm resting too. It did say I was due one.

I haven't redeemed any points yet. Can someone explain how it works please. Do points have to be redeemed 2500 at a time for single vouchers or if you have 7500 vouchers can you redeem them for a voucher worth 3x as much? Are they online codes or do the vouchers get posted?

Open the app and click on 'points history'. At the top click on 'voucher'. They send you a code by email for a company called cadooz. You use the code there to receive an emailed gift code.
