Since the upgrade mine also says I have a pending query but it's also showing I've just started my rest period. It shows I'm 4 days in which by my calculations is about a month early!
And in the schedule it shows I've got items to send until at least 21st October. I've also received survey items everyday this week which is more than at any point while I was 'active'!!
I'm wondering if this is a glitch or if anyone has experienced similar?
I've checked my emails and I went live again in April but didn't receive any survey mail or bundles to send until mid May!! I'm very confused! 🤔0 -
I think Spectos have a slightly strange process in that they say you’ve started your rest period when they stop allocating you survey items, I’ve usually found there is a 3-4 week period after beginning resting when I still have to post and receive items.Northern Ireland club member No 382 :j1

I've also just started my rest period and have received the most mail to log each day by far.2

Anyone else having problems with the notifications bell icon? I have notifications 🔔 to read but the red number counter stays at 0!I’m using the current version on an iPhone. It’s annoying!0

I have seen 'prize draw' mentioned when sending test items mobile verified - does anyone know what the prizes are? How often does the prize draw take place? Anyone won anything?0

Yorkie006 said:Hi,
anyone knows how to post the mail bag with parcels at the post office? I mean a step by step instruction for the PO worker, what to press on the screen etc. My local PO is useless (tiny branch with 1 counter and only 1 person working there), they refused to take the mail bag in the past because they didn't know what to do. I don't fancy traveling 3 miles (don't drive) to the another PO and there's no parcel box nearby either.
If I can give them idiot-proof instructions, they will hopefully accept the bag. I have one to post tomorrow.
Thanks! If your Post Office doesn't know what to do with it tell them to just take the bloomin' bag and give it and the manifest to the driver. They should scan the manifest into their own terminal (it takes about 10 seconds) but if they don't it's them who don't get paid so their loss, the items will still get there. It's part of their contract to accept these items. As mentioned before I never ever queue up to post these either (unless I'm also using the counter for something else), I put the bag by the hatch and just give the paper to the closest staff member, I'm not queuing for 10-15 mins (nor do any other business customers I've seen posting similar items when I've been standing in the queue on occasion).MDMD said:madflower said:elsien said:Only if value though if you can get rid of the blasted things. Mine are accumulating because no one write letters anymore and no one wants to buy them even at a cheap rate.
relative who has a business and I was hoping to offload some into uses the franking systemWhen I sell I use the free stamps to undercut other sellers by offering free postage and bundling a nominal charge in a BIN price. That way I shift my stuff, get some money and work through the large letter stskps..
edit: just counted, I have £300 of first class letter but only about £100 of large letter.Exactly what I do. Yes it "costs" more than online but the stamps are going to waste otherwise and I get more than I would selling them.Previously I was using 1x 1st Large Letter and 1x 1st Letter = £3.45 and paying 24p over the counter to get to a 2nd Class Small Parcel (which was £3.69). However 1st Class Large Letter stamps are now worth way too much since this week's price rise...So best "use" now is 2x 1st Letter = £3.30 and pay 45p over the counter (to get to £3.75).My prefered use for a large letter stamp is now on 750g 2nd Class Large Letters = 10p extra to pay. On a 500g 2nd Class Large Letter you would be "overpaying" by 10p by using one of the 1st Class Large Letter stamps so also a decent use of them.If you pay the small extra amounts at the counter, the Post Office (should) print a label stamp (APL as they were called under Kantar) out the Horizon terminal which has a 2D Barcode. You can inist they do this if they try to just sell you stamps (there is an option on their terminal to enter "prepaid amount" if they look after selecting the service. This means (assuming that the postie scans it, which unfortunately not all do) that you get Delivery Confirmation via a reference number on your reciept, which covers you on eBay in the event of an "item not recieved" claim.Unfortunately despite trying and Royal Mail Tracked now being avaliable at the Post Office counter, you can't use stamps towards it. You can use them towards Special Delivery, Signed For and most international services.
